was supposed to be ham, eggs and chips, with the eggs from Ana Cristina and Jose Felipe.

Because it's so cold and not pleasant, we're having the curry a day early

With chips, as you do 8-)

We've had potato, cheese, bacon and leek bake.

I don't usually cook anything very much on a Friday, I usually just get a couple of Tesco's fresh Chinese ready meals as it's just me and John, but Joe's booked this week off work with it being his birthday and is out celebrating at a club in town tonight so I thought I'd better line his stomach with something substantial

Blimey, that was warm  and I'd cooled it down too

Must remember next time I use that paste not to use 4 rather heaped teaspoons, as well as the 5 of curry powder, garam masala and other stuff

LOL, Jan!

Only a soup tonight because we went out for lunch - the Hunters Lodge on the Wincanton road does a "Seniors" midday meal for £9.50 for two courses. :D

Mrs O started with the tempura prawns and Ossie the garlic mushrooms, both with a small salad and appropriate dips, before moving on the penne pasta and basil with garlic bread. and (for the bird) a slice of farmhouse chicken pie, fresh veg and mash.

Home for a snooze in the afternoon!

… potato, cheese, bacon and leek bake.

I'd have gate-crashed if I'd known …. :D

Sorry, I can't answer this question.
We are old-fashioned - We have our dinner at mid-day, tea at about six o'clock, and supper just before bedtime,
and have no desire to change.

Pedant!

But I agree - breakfast, dinner, tea and supper.

Lunch is just a made up word, and don't get me started on 'brunch'.... It's for lazy people who get up late. Too late for breakfast, but hungry enough to need food before dinner. ;)
