Good Morning Monday.

Postby Kaz » 13 May 2019, 07:19

Morning everyone :)

It's a sunny day here, forecast warm. Going to the WW meeting to help out, but I can't see the meeting lasting much longer, we don't have nearly as many members since the venue changed. Getting some washing out on the line before I go, making the most of the sunshine :)

Love to all :) xxx

Morning Kaz. :)
It's a good drying day up here too, as they say. Nice and sunny.
Ellie has brought Eliza round as Lee (husband) has been on nights.
We need a bit of shopping later but it's such a nice day it needs to be enjoyed. Coffee and a mooch, I think.
Have a good day all.

Morning all

Crommers, 100% agree; enjoy the weather whilst you can / it lasts.... the mundane household chores can wait
Kaz, I do wonder how many people still go to the WW meeting I went to. It used to be 2 mins from my house; then moved 10 mins away and then 20 mins (on the motorway) away at which point I cancelled the membership and am just keeping on top of things myself.
Saundra, enjoy that sunshine - wish I was outside as well

A usual / usual for me - although saying that; bossman is out for the next three days which always makes things a bit easier and despite him not being part of management anymore (since the take over) the mood here is quite different when he's gone; it's odd (and a bit sad really).

Off this evening to have a 1/2 hour socialising session with Ollie and then home to my cats and garden and relax

Have a lovely day all xxx

Morning all :D

Another bright and sunny day 8-)

Enjoy your coffee and mooch Crommers, that is if you have any energy left after hurricane Eliza

Shame about the WW meetings Kaz, good that you have SW as a back up. I've been gradually losing weight since my diagnosis, 1st 10lbs so far. It's very slow, mainly because I'm not as mobile so don't do the nice long walks we regularly enjoyed.

Had another go with the tanning, looks a bit better this morning, will have another go tonight and hopefully I won't look so pasty on holibobs.

Have a good day :D

It's just typical, holiday = rain, cold. Today I am back to work and it is warm and sunny!!!  Hopefully I can take advantage of it a bit tonight, once I have had a meeting with a double glazing company who are coming to measure up for a new front door.

Still seething over Amy last night. I was just stating to prepare our evening meal and Tom came back from walking the dogs to say Amy had rung him and said she would 'pop down' for an hour later. I know this means she has invited herself for her tea, so I did extra....luckily we were having a roast which I never do on Sundays these days. We'd almost finished ours when she arrived, she sat down and ate it apart from most of the veg, and then fell asleep!! She left after a while....I mean she did thank me for making it but honestly, you should have seen her lying next to Tom on the sofa....she's 28 soon FHS!! :o

Aaaaand breathe!!!!

Back to work shortly....enjoy your lovely sunshiney Monday folks! xxx

I'm not even sure how to reply to that Gal - my blood just boils for you. You're a better person than I am for putting up with it

Afternoon everyone

Been a busy day

Up at 6.30, down the bar by 7.20, in Beja by 8.30. Then had to wait until 9.00, when the IMT office opened.

But we now have until 30 July before our temporary driving licence runs out. Hopefully, we'll get the proper one's before then.

we took Mitchell with us, so he could do his too, went to a couple of shops, had a coffee in MacDonalds - and very nice it was too

Popped into Lidl's too, to get Molly treats and wine.

Back at the bar by 11.15, so had a beer (well, two   )

Into Ourique this afternoon, to get Leanora sorted then another put stop at the bar. Rui insisted on buying us a beer

Been very hot - summer hot  - had a lovely swim this afternoon, even Grumpy got in

Didn't have breakfast until about midday, so starving now.

And it's lovely to be back and in touch - I felt so lost
