Re: the mini appeal I posted on FB last week, regarding the ragdoll kitten? Its owner no longer could cope with it, and was going to put it for sale online if no new owner could be found. Since my post, my ex's niece (whom I shall call MY niece, as she still regards herself as such) got in touch and is VERY interested to adopt said ragdoll....cue several messages and calls today, and come Saturday she will be the proud owner of a gorgeous little cat! I'm REALLY happy that it's turned out this way.....Sarah (my niece) is fab and another cat fan, she is so excited to get the cat!
As an aside, we have Charlie back in a cone collar tonight - and for the same reasons as last time. His skin sort of scabs over and then he gets the scabs off so the skin is sore. I tried him with a baby vest as I did last year but sadly it isn't enough to cover where the patch of soreness is, so a cone it is. We both hate it, and I suspect he may have to have a vet visit which will be traumatic for him (he stresses in the carrier) but needs must. I have no clue what causes this, I haven't changed his food, he hasn't had any drops on his neck for fleas or anything. Bless him.
