Good Morning Thursday

Postby JanB » 06 Jun 2019, 06:17

Morning everyone

Another lovely, cool morning. Hotting up later, but not too hot 8-)

Will be working outside this morning and going into Ourique, yet again, this afternoon. Grumpy needs to try the next size up on that top - it's more his shoulders :? he is rather broad   - and we'll see if the curtain lady is open. Will pop into Alentejana and get some more of that cheap wine and also collect my prescription from the chemist.

Pit stop at the bar on the way back ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan, morning everyone

I can imagine Grumpy struggling with clothing there; as you say he is quite broad on the shoulders whereas most people there are stockier. Good luck - I hope you find a top that fits and hope you get all the other bits and bobs you need.

I've taken 1/2 day leave today; so will be leaving at 1pm - yay! Got a few things I have to get done in the garden before the weekend so just hope the weather holds!

Have a lovely day all xxxx

Good morning all, it is nice and bright here, sun and cloud but a sharp wind - however a welcome change of the last two dreary days. Michael and Kellie were dropped in early and we brought them to school. Just watched the ceremony from Bayeux, very moving. I just love Camilla, she always behaves perfectly but has that twinkle in her eye. We will have the children later, as per a normal Thursday.

Good morning all, it's sunny and quite warm here.

The day started with a long, long walk. We came across a little French Bulldog which was thankfully on it's lead, blimey it was a snappy little thing!

There's washing on the line so I'll iron that later. I need to hoover too.

Osc, I always think Camilla looks so lovely and like she could be fun to spend time with! :D

Have a good day all!

Hooray for the better weather. Today is supposed to be better Ria. I agree Osc, I always think that Camilla would be a good laugh at a party! Hope Grumpy gets sorted with the clothes Jan. Steady away with the h work Jo!
Well, we've already had MrsC's dad on the phone twice, ringing up in a panic because his tv isn't working, MrsC is expected to fix TVs and hearing aids as the men in her family are all so bl**dy useless.
I'm making a risotto sardo for this evening and need a couple of ingredients so will head out soon.
I think the car's air con might need a re-gas, so that needs looking into.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Oh dear Crommers, Mrs.C certainly has her hands full. Have to admit I dread getting to the stage where I'm constantly on the phone to the family for help. Not that it would do much good, none of them live close enough, bet they're all thinking phew, lucky escape  Getting older is definitely not much fun.

Oh dear Saundra, what a worry. I'm sure Iona is in good hands, hope it all goes well xx

We loved the film yesterday, lived up to expectations.

Weekly shopping day for us, M&S then Tesco. Don't need much in the latter as we had a delivery from Sainsburys on Tuesday. It will be fresh stuff, I prefer to pick that myself, check the sell by dates etc.

Have a good day :D

Saundra, I hope all goes well for Iona xx

Jen, I've done Tesco home deliveries these last few weeks. Just thought I'd give it a try and see if I could save time more than anything. I was a bit dubious about the fresh stuff and didn't know whether to order it but so far the fruit and veg has been lovely and well dated, and milk, yoghurts and cream have at least a week on them.

Crommers, I've had a missed call from my Dad's phone while I was out in the garage and that means that there's something I need to do. It's possibly either a hair cut or prescription order, although it could be something technical, and I'm not actually sure when I can get around to see them this weekend as it's already looking full on.

Good afternoon everybody.

We have been to Cannes today on our cruise. Mrs.e has walked most of the time without using her walking stick.
It is hot ans sunny. Just had a drink and looked at some shops.
Enjoying our cruise. Have met a couple who were on a cruise with us last year. Have drinks with them every evening.

Have a good day everybody.
