Good morning all and what a beautiful sunny day to be waking up to - bliss

A busy day for me, got a few things to shop for at three shops all quite far apart from each other then meeting up with a bunch of girls for a friends birthday lunch in Guildford. Now that we finally have lovely weather I've got sooooo much to do at home in the garden and at the allotment, I really need this lunch like a hole in my head but needs must; oh well. I just won't loiter much longer than I have to without being rude. And then I can still get a few decent hours of work in at home; and at a minimum get the lawns mowed.

Have a wonderful day all - hope it's as sunny where you are as it is here xxx

Morning Ria :) and everyone :)

It's a beautiful day here too, one that reminds you it's summer after all ;) Ria I hope you get loads done, despite the distraction - perfect weather for gardening 8-)

I'm up early as per usual on Saturdays for the SW meeting. Hoping for a loss this week, after a small gain last week :cute: To be honest, I'm pretty much where I need to be, but want to keep going to support B, and so I don't put any back on ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning everybody,

Lots of sunshine. Shopping this morning. Then more gardening. Iam geting a creeping weed which is difficult to readicate. Seems to spring up everywhere. Have tried weed killer but it does not stop it.

The lawn is nearly ready for another mow.
Will be going out tomorrow. Mrs.e wants to have some retail therapy.
Have a good day everybody

That's a nice thing to do Kaz. Cruiser and Ria, I hope you get lots done in the garden.
It is a beautiful morning here too.
Daughter, Eliza and dog are here, son in law is on nights so needs to sleep this morning after last night's shift.
Might cut the lawns today myself, you couldn't get a better day for it. Pizza later.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s a nice morning here. We were up early this morning as the plumber was due at 9am and we needed to have showers before he turned off the water. He was here bang on time. Edward is staying here but I am heading off for some retail therapy and the pre-holiday Boots shop. It should be quiet in the shopping center this early on a Saturday

Good afternoon all, it's hot and sunny here.

John's gone to visit his mother, he'll be back tomorrow. Joe's gone to Amanda's and on the way back from there late tonight he's doing a detour into Birmingham to pick up some friends from a festival. He's not driven into the city before and I really wish he hadn't told me!

I've been to town on a mission to find something to ease the itching from a load of bites that I've got. I counted 14; there are 12 on my left leg and 2 on my stomach despite being covered when I've gone out because I know I'm a magnet for biting insects. I've bought a couple of things to try (in addition to what I already had at home) but so far the itching is the same.

I've been shaking my head about him next door since I got back. I've mentioned before how he's planted trees right against the fence posts (a cherry and a maple) and he'd also planted an evergreen in the corner where their house and our fence meet which had grown tall enough to completely cover the vent pipe from their boiler. He removed that tree a couple of weeks ago and I've come back today to see that it's been replaced by a 9ft bamboo with a 7ft one a couple of feet further along the boundary.

Tom's just come back from my Mom and Dad's with his car boot full of bedding plants! She phoned and asked if I wanted 'a few' plants - there's well over 100 :o

Have a good day all!

I find Eurax HC is the best for bites. Not the plain Eurax but the HC version. I always have to put it on twice, just about 10 minutes apart, and then it works for several hours. Boots sell it.
