Another oven hot day here but that's fine.

Off for a walk shortly, back for a swim then going to Miramar shopping mall with Don for a spot of retail therapy.

Sun lounger and book when I get home.

I'll post on the 'other board' later to update you all.

Early start for me today - have a breakfast meeting and I needed to come in to collect the croissants and bits and bobs. Going to be a long day
Such a lovely sunny start to the day again, still quite muggy but I love that. Would love to be home and get more stuff done in the garden. But hey ho - I've only got this week to go and then I'm off for two weeks. This time next week Nadine and I will be on a flight to Faro to see Jan and Grumpy; we're both so looking forward to it.

Grey and warm here. MrsC's dad rang up three times before eight o'clock wittering that he'd got no electricity. If it's just a switch that's flipped OK, but if it is a power cut I don't know what he expects us to do.
Daughter and sister in law are off on their respective holidays today, I do envy them a little bit.

Morning all, it is overcast at the moment, hopefully it will brighten up although there are heavy showers forecast. Edward has headed off to play golf and I will be going to the gym soon. This afternoon, I have to do the ironing that I managed to avoid yesterday We heard this morning that our builder is finally going to do the job on our bathroom ceiling - the week leading up to our holiday So I will be trying to get clothes ready while builders are tramping through the house and spreading dust and dirt everywhere We can do nothing about it as we have been waiting so long for him to come - he says it will take about three days and I only hope he is right
