Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 12 Jul 2019, 05:18

Good morning.

Gosh yesterday was a fabulous day! We got to Marylebone station for 10.30 and we'd booked online to leave our two pieces of luggage in a newsagents for the day for the princely sum of £12.
It was one of those days the tubes were running bang on time which meant we packed loads in and got to see what I'd planned. :D

Picked the luggage up at 5pm, tubed it to Waterloo and met Ed at Twickenham at 6.20. Perfect. :D

Dumped our bags and went to a lovely pub right by the green. It specialises in Thai food so we had a drink and lovely food.

This morning we're having breakfast by the green then getting to St Pancras for 1.30 to get the train to Nottingham where Craig will pick us up. :D

Looking forward to seeing him and Lani and gorgeous Ronnie Dog.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, Crommers and everyone

Dull and cloudy again  But will clear later and cooler than yesterday, which is good.

Sounds a lovely day yesterday Ally and another today, enjoy x

And you too Crommers, time just for you two, lovely x

Doing not a lot again today, apart from sorting out all the veg Odette gave me yesterday. The biggest bag of beans, a massive courgette and a couple of rather large cucumbers. Apparently, I'm to use most of it as a side dish for fish, with vinegar. Now, we all know my love of fish

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it's dull and humid here.

I walked Billy first thing and then walked into town. It seems we have a full house this weekend, both girls are staying tomorrow night, so I thought the easiest thing to do is get a selection of fresh pizzas from Asda for tomorrow night's dinner. I'll do some salad and garlic bread for with them.

Al, give Ronnie a tummy tickle from me. He is totally and utterly gorgeous!

Have a good day all!

Morning all, the weather has not quite decided what to do, it is cloudy and certainly cooler than yesterday, but the sun seems to be making an effort so we shall see. Been busy so far ticking things off my list, and packing has started. I will be off to the gym soon and into the cafe with the ladies for lunch afterwards. Back home, more packing, and I am having a facial at 3pm. We plan on eating out this evening. Once I sit down to do my nails this evening, the holiday will have officially begun!

Morning all :D

Started off overcast, but looks to be brightening now.

Not much happening here, the bed's stripped and the washing machine's on, what an exciting life we lead

Have a good day :D

Just realised I hadn't posted today!

*Waves to everyone* :D

Went into town to pay in a cheque, and get some toe taps put on my lovely mock snakeskin slingbacks, as they were already showing some wear  Luckily we have a great little cobbler's shop, near the cathedral, who happily sorted it for me, for the princely sum of £2, when Timpsons had said it couldn't be done :cute: 8-)

Arranged for DPD to pick up a parcel for us. It's Harry's phone, and the Royal Mail won't accept mobiles for posting any more!. :o

Emma came round for a cuppa this afternoon, which was nice as we sat out on the decking in the sunshine :) Since she left I have hoovered downstairs, and the stairs, mopped the hard floors, polished and dusted 8-) Having a cuppa now, and Mick has just walked in from the gym, so I'll go and make him one too :D

Love to all :) xx
