Misty and quite cool this morning, but warming up later

Good call from us to do the shopping this morning Will head into Ourique and go to Alentejana, then the supermarket and finally Pingo, for the main shop. Pit stop at the bar to collect the rolls I ordered yesterday.

Then will see what the weather is like, to decide what to do. Probably not a lot

Jan, we're expecting record breaking temps here today

I'm walking up to D's a little earlier, for our food shopping trip, and taking my cool bags for the groceries!

Pilates tonight will be VERY hot, in that small church hall B is thrilled as she bought some new jeggings, a size smaller, tried them on this morning and they're already too big! So she's sending them back for a size smaller still

Good morning all, it's mid-20s already and sunny.

I took Bill for an earlier than early walk, and I've tried to get all of jobs done so that there's not much to do today apart from sit in front of the fan in the living room. Oh, and wait for an Amazon delivery!

Morning all. Warm but fresh here, but not a cloud in the sky and forecast to be very hot later with maybe thunderstorms this afternoon. Walking Bill early is a good idea Jo.
It s our daughter's fifth wedding anniversary today, time flies. So her and our son n law are having a romantic night away tonight. Which means that me and MrsC are having Eliza and their dog overnight. Also son-in-law's parent's dog, because his parents are away in Majorca and left their dog with him. I'm not in the best frame of mind about this and have let MrsC know my feelings so things are a bit strained atm. It's difficult to know how we could have avoided this but I'm well fed up about it, especially as in-laws dog can be a nervous wreck. People are taking the mickey, imo.
Anyway, roll on the weekend and some normal weather!

Another hot day. We had heavy rain and thunder on Tuesday night. One bang sounded overhead. More forecast for today and night.
Got the new washing machine installed yesterday. It only needs a cold water supply. The fitted a blank to the hot water pipe
One minor proble. The drawer for the powder and liquid doesn't come out as far as the old one. So it is partly obstructed by the work top above.
Will find a way to fill the drawer.
Having a relaxing day.
Use plenty of sun cream and don't get burnt.
Take it easy and relax

Jo, he's slightly off colour, but it's probably the antibiotics and the heat. He'll be ok, but we hate seeing him like this Xx

Crommers, I totally understand where you are coming from with this. You and MrsC are always helping family, but where is your time together? (((Hugs)))

Sunny and hot I can manage it when we're abroad, a much drier heat, the humidity here finishes me off, I'm melting

Blimey Crommers, I understand you having Eliza and your daughters dog, but being lumbered with their inlaws dog too, definitely a step too far!!!

The boys are arriving around 12ish, the plans have changed and they're only here till Saturday now. Means tomorrow is our one full day to get down to the beach/harbour. Probably just as well, it's forecast to rain Saturday.

Posted a card for Oliver - he's now left the little school and was awarded a prize for his attitude, helpfulness and just generally been a model pupil Very proud of him, as he's really very shy and quiet.
