Good Morning Monday

Postby JanB » 19 Aug 2019, 07:01

Morning everyone

Lovely sunny morning, with a little cool ish breeze.

Been awake since 4.00 because of those blasted dogs. That's the second night of disturbed sleep - will be making a phone call in the early hours if it happens again. It's beyond me, their thinking. They have paying guests too

Housework for me this morning, washing machine already on.

Will be speaking to the nice neighbours later, as they're back from their trip to England and hope to find out why they're moving and where to.

Grumpy doing stuff on the new store room. A door would be good too

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it's sunny and quite warm here.

Joe's just taken Tom and Shannon to the station (via Wetherspoon's for breakfast as a thank you to him for getting up early on his day off), they're off to Paris today so are getting the Eurostar from St Pancras this afternoon. Honestly, you'd think they were emigrating with the amount of stuff they're taking. They've both got bulging full sized suitcases - and they're back home on Friday!!

Not sure what's happened locally but on a woman in her fifties was found with serious injuries on the pavement along the road which runs between here and my Mom and Dad's house on Sunday morning and she's since sadly died. It's all a bit of a mystery as to how she was injured so it's not known if it was a hit and run or if she was attacked, the police are appealing for witnesses obviously and any dashcam and CCTV footage.

Right, I've got washing to do and lawns to cut.

Have a good day all!

Morning all, it is a nice morning here, sunny and cloudy. I’m getting my eyebrows done at 11am, then to the gym. Dentist for us both at 2pm. Edward has gone to play golf and I will collect him on the way to the dentist. No other plans for the day.

Morning all :)

We had an absolutely amazing weekend down in Weymouth! :D I put loads of photos on Facebook, but I will sort some out for our photo board later and post all about it :)

While we were away Becky won Woman of the Year at our SW group! Nominated by other members it goes to the most inspirational member of each meeting, and my lovely B won it! I was gutted not to be there with her - our weekend away was arranged months ago, and this contest only announced a few weeks ago - but am so proud of her, she really deserved it :D

Jo how awful! I wonder what happened to the poor lady :(

((((Saundra)))) hugs xxx

Good luck at the dentist Osc, and to E too.

I wonder why they are coming home Jan?

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Well done to B :Hi: :Hi:

An amazing accolade, woman of the year. Well done.

Many reasons Kaz, she is being more and more affected by the heat as she gets older and this brexit stuff will affect his work. He can work anywhere in the world, but relies on deliveries from England. Their daughter lives in England too. And she said that whilst they've enjoyed their time here, it's time for another adventure, before they get too old. She's my age, he's a few years younger.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Well done Becky, you must be so proud of her Kaz.

How annoying about the dogs Jan, it would drive me mad!!!

We need to pop into town to collect our prescriptions. The pharmacy closes between 1-2pm so it will have to be this afternoon as we've had a good lie in.

Have a good day :D

Oh wow! That's brilliant - very well done Becky :Hi:
She's doing so well, Kaz :D

Glad you had a good weekend in Weymouth! I love it there :D

Saundra, the plans were that we'd go away later in the year but we've spent a lot on the house recently so a holiday will have to wait.
