Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 23 Aug 2019, 02:28

Good morning.

Set to be another hot one. 8-) 8-)

Up at 4am for an airport run....always easy to say yes at the time.

After a swim today's shopping list includes spot lights for the kitchen and attention is being turned to the guest bathroom. Guess that's back to Leroy Merlin.

Friday beer and tapas is being resumed tonight. :Hi: :Hi:

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning all, it’s a sunny one here.

John’s off today, he’s got loads of holiday to take before the end of the year and today is a rare day with no meetings or visits planned so he decided to book it off. Joe’s off to Leeds this morning. I’ll be relieved when he gets back on Monday, he’s never driven that far or on the motorway before. We’ve got to pick Tom, Shannon and their humongous suitcases up from the station late tonight, they leave Paris late afternoon.

Have a good day all :)

Morning Ally, Jo and everyone

Lovely sunny morning, very calm and quiet too 8-) Will be rather warm later.

Watering done under the watchful gaze of the cows and the most enormous bull  in the field next door   The bull had to be shooed away, as he decided he liked what he saw on our side of the fence and just crushed the first four rows of the fence :o We keep saying we'll have the put an electric wire on top

Not sure what we'll be doing, not a lot probably. Pool later, no doubt.

Have a good day everyone ,whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it is a lovely day but so much darker in the very early morning. We got up at 7am as the builder said he would be here at 8am.......don’t be silly, of course he hasn’t arrived yet (checks watch, 9.12am) I’m off to the gym later. Edward might go out later to Michael’s soccer camp which is being run by former Ireland player Richard Dunne - Miss Osc says Richard is very nice and she would like Edward to meet him. It depends on the builder really. No other plans for the day.

How annoying the about the builder Osc, hope he turns up and more importantly does a good job.

We're up early, going over to Blue Water for another session later this morning.

Have a good day :D

I remember Richard Dunne playing, Osc. Wasn't he at Man City for a long time?

Saundra, I doubt it! He'd have been hard pushed to fit a piece of paper in there though actually so no room for pressies

Afternoon all :)

Nipped into the Quays early on, to meet my friends Tricia and Paula. T has one of the lovely waterside flats there, but is selling up to move to Wiltshire, where her children and grandchildren are. I'll miss her! Paula told us the funniest story, involving taking her elderly mum to visit her brother in a posh care home - it had us literally howling with laughter  I might share it on a private board later  We always have such a laugh, two hours passed in no time :) Then I walked home, through town.

I have some cleaning to do this afternoon, and I might use some of the rhubarb I cooked down and froze the other day, from Jeff's allotment, to make a crumble. Chris is coming for the day tomorrow, and he can take some home with him :D

Love to all :) xx
