Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another amazing sunrise this morning, the colours are jut glorious :D Today should b the last of our really hot heat and we're back to normal hot heat tomorrow 8-)

Will be ringing the centro d saude later, to see which doctor is working today. Grumpy needs to renew his driving licence and he'd like to see the same doc. If it's Dra Ana, then we'll go in, then go to the hardware shop, then the Chinese, the library and then Pingo before coming home. If she's not, then we'll do all of that this afternoon  with the added bonus of stopping a the bar on the way back for a few cool beers, Will ring Mitchell later and see if he'll be going - silly question, really, but the racing is on tv and he does like his horses

Mad thing that I am, doing a curry for dinner tonight

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, a lovely day here too. I have the bedding in the washing machine and it will be out on the line soon. I got a nice surprise yesterday evening - during the week I entered a competition on FB for two free tickets to a charity lunch which is a fundraiser for the maternity hospital where I had Miss Osc and where she had Michael and Kellie. Last night I went onto Messenger to do something else and there was a message to say my name had come out of the hat! Now the message was sent on Thursday so I hope I was not too late responding - Messenger did that weird thing of almost hiding the message because it was from someone with whom I am not friends on FB. I probably won’t hear back again until Monday, but Miss Osc is all set to come with me and it is at the start of my birthday week so we will both enjoy it. September is setting up to be a very busy month, but as Edward says, you only turn 70 once :D

Dra Ana is on duty this morning, so off we went, before breakfast, thinking we'd be back within an hour. Wrong   the waiting room was full  But she whizzed through them and he now has his medical certificate :Hi: :Hi: Not that she asked him about anything medical, they talked about brexit

Couldn't find what we wanted in the hardware shop and they couldn't/wouldn't understand us. :cute: Marco speaks good English, their son, but he's on holiday. We normally manage but neither of us could remember the Portuguese word for woodworm   Silly us, of course it's caruncho

Got Grumpy a pair of crocs for gardening, his boots are too hot and flip-flops, as I know, don0t last that long. He said that they're really comfy, so will get me a pair next week.

Pingo rammed, as usual, but got beer and water. Expensive water, but water.

 We won't be going down to the bar later, it was so hot in the bar and outside will be just as bad.

Well done Osc :Hi: :Hi: Hope you were in time.

Have a lovely day with the family Kaz xx

You will find me in or on the pool later. Just going to make the curry  8-)
