Morning Ally, morning everyone

Grey start this morning  but we are forecast another lovely day 8-) Not cold, I did the watering in a t-shirt and shorts.

A lazy day, their last full day.

Off out for a pre-birthday dinner tonight, as we haven't made it out yet. I'm worn out with all the cooking  And they have lunch too

Will stop at Sonia's on the way back for a coffee and brandy and then at the bar too. Tracy can have her mug of tea there ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two - please send some sunshine here. Doesn't have to be warm sunshine, just sunshine will do nicely :D

Hope you both have a lovely day with your respective families. Jan, the time has gone quick - have they all had fun?

Friday today - yipppeeee. Indian for lunch which I'm looking foward to and then home via Sainsbury to get a few things. Off to Calais tomorrow to do a wine run (just in case the B word does happen end of the month). So going to stock up as much as I can - needs must you see :D

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all :D

Nice and bright, but definitely a tad chilly.

Enjoy lunch with your dad Ally.
Make the most of the last day with your visitors Jan. If you're anything like me you'll collapse when they've gone
We always stock up with bubbly late summer Ria, never too early to get ready for the C word  Tesco do a big promotion then so what with the reduced price and 25% off for cases of 6 we usually manage to get 4 cases at half price.

Apart from the organisers and speaker there were only 6 of us at the diabetic group meeting yesterday. Marianne my diabetic nurse was really interesting, but the chairman only allowed her 3mins per answer to questions (these had to be in writing and sent ahead of the meeting) so it was all rather regimented. Bit unfair to judge on just one meeting so we'll probably give it one more go, but I'm not sure it's really for me.

Up extra early, it's the yearly boiler service this morning, thought it might be a good idea to be up and dressed before he gets here  Apparently Mike has to be annually checked by Gas Safe so we're expecting their inspector too. We've got another couple of small jobs need doing, but they can wait till the inspector's gone.

After all that excitement it will be too late for our usual Blue Wave session so we'll be off out to do the weekly shop instead.

Have a good day :D

Good morning all, it's dull here but stayed dry for me and Bill to go for a long walk. I think it's due to start raining soon though.

Joe's finishing work at lunchtime and then driving down to Cornwall for the weekend. His bags are packed so that he'll be ready to go once he's eaten (by bags I mean carriers ).

Have a good day all!

Morning all, it’s pretty miserable here but has brightened up a little bit. I’m meeting the gym ladies for a cuppa after their class, I am hoping to get back to it next week. Nothing major planned for the rest of the day.
