Good morning.

Lovely again. 8-) 8-)

A swim then going to pick dad up to take him to Plaza Mayor...he wants a new pair of trousers from C&A!

His turn to buy lunch then a walk to the bridge where you get a fantastic view of the planes taking off.

Homework club 4.30 - 6.30 then meeting Don for Friday beers and tapas. Will catch the final of Masterchef on iplayer when I get home. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Just getting light, Molly just come in, chatting away and will probably go to bed now she's had a brush and is eating breakfast . Should be a good day, once the sun is up.

The patient will be annointed once he's awake and I have no idea what he'll be doing today. I'll start some cleaning and more washing.

Jose Felipe will be up later with the weekly eggs and we'll ask him to take away a washing machine that was left here. Not sure if it works, but he can either keep it and play with it or take it down to the bins, where some-one else will no doubt take it.

Now it's getting lighter, we have a few clouds, but also a deep red sky 8-)

We have footie and masterchef later, so have to decide on which footie match and we'll miss some of it, because of the final

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here. It's not actually raining at the moment, but we've had some and the forecast promises more.

Ally enjoy lunch with dad.

I'll be glued to the box for the Masterchef final too. On balance I'd like to see Gregg win, but like all three so won't be disappointed whoever gets it.

Extra sore this morning, think I overdid it a bit yesterday. Blue Wave later this morning, hopefully it will ease in the water.

Have a good day :D

Jose Felipe has just been up and taken away a washing machine that the previous owner left. He'll play with it and make it work.

Grumpy has been anointed and is now under orders to lie down.

I really must crack on, haven't even washed the breakfast dishes yet

Gone cloudy and windy, Jose Felipe said it might even rain :Hi: :Hi:

Morning all, it is nice and sunny here. Off to the gym in a while, then lunch in the cafe afterwards. This is afternoon we have to attend at Miss Osc’s house for a certain little lady’s birthday - hard to believe that Kellie is 5  I remember the day she was born so clearly. Looking forward to the Masterchef final tonight, it has been really good this year.

Morning all. Dull grey and rainy here. (Sounds like a firm of solicitors).
We have Eliza and the dog this morning.
The carers have been sorted for Fil, they start a week on Monday and we have had a key safe put on the wall next to the door.
Have a good day all.

Greetings all and happy Friday
Crommers so glad you got the carers sorted; and fingers crossed all goes well with them and Mrs C and her sister get a bit of a break and more time for themselves x
Jan, speedy get better to Grumpy - he must be unwell if he's actually listening to the order of lying down!
Jen, hope you feel better as well after Blue Wave
Everyone else hope you have lovely days doing the bits and pieces you're up to

Waiting for lunch to be delivered. All the roads around us are closed because of the protests here in London (we're 2 mins from Trafalgar Square) so the driver is struggling to get to the restaurant for pick up and then to us. Oh well, it's fabulous Thai food so well worth the wait.

Dinner at a friends tonight which will be lovely - she's had a lot of family over from Australia the past month and a bit so it'll be good to catch up. And she's invited a few other friends as well that I haven't seen in a while - so will be an evening of lots of nattering I suppose.

Have a lovely day all and stay dry! (well those of us here in the UK that is - Ally and Jan, stay cool! :D ) xxx

The climate "crisis" is one thing, but keeping someone from their dinner is outrageous! :)

Good afternoon all, it's pouring down here!

John's taken a day's holiday and Joe finishes work at lunchtime on Fridays so they're watching the new Breaking Bad movie on Netflix. I've never seen the show so it doesn't mean much to me.

Might pop to see my parents shortly.

Crommers, that's good news. Let's hope everything works out well and you all get more time to yourselves :)

Ria, I hope the food arrived in good time!

Osc, how did that happen? Those 5 years have flown by - Happy Birthday to Kellie! :D

Have a good day all xx

I know, right!

But seriously we were talking about this at lunch time - admittedly the protests are by the extinction group so not about climate change per se, but more about human destruction of environments, flora and fauna etc... but still; in a way quite closely related to climate change. Which is fine but surely the number of helicopters in the sky monitoring the situation isn't really aiding the cause of climate change / no pollution?
