Grumpy likes to have a couple of steamed spuds with it, as it can be quite rich, so that's what we're having

BBC Food called it Chicken and Chorizo Jambalaya but Di shared the recipe and it's been known as Di's Jambalaya ever since in our house.

not sure yet - nothing in the fridge that's quite grabbing my attention. I hate cooking when I come home after work so have my main meal at lunch time and usually look for a quick something as an evening snack. So far it's a small pack of mini cheddars and a glass of red wine.

We only do the carvery once a fortnight, Saundra. But we did do breakfast today down at the garden centre. Mrs O had 3 pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, while Ossie had bacon & eggs, brown toast and a side order of mushrooms.

Pumpkin soup, now there's a thought! I'll have a word with Mrs O ….
