The human brain

Is an amazing thing. I've been watching reruns of The Sweeney on ITV4 and as the show has progressed, predicting lines of dialogue that were about to be said.*
Now the thing is if anybody had asked me questions about the Sweeney, I doubt very much if I would have been able to answer them because I hadn't seen the show for many, many years. But the information was still there in the brain, and just needed a key to unlock it.
It's fascinating.

* And not just "You're nicked!" either!

Daft as it sounds that 'predicting' malarkey is one of the reasons I don't have a library of DVD's or novels - I've watched them or read them and know what is going on so don't need to keep them 'for later'.

Not saying that I don't like a repeat now and then it is just that I do not have a need to keep them to hand cluttering up the place... I prefer my space.
