Good morning.

Sunny but only 20 degrees...Baltic for us.

A walk with my PT then we're off to Miramar for some retail therapy. :P :P

Nip into Iceland on the way back for some Uk stuff and mince pies.

IACGMOOH tonight. Boy did I laugh last night!

Have a great day.

Jen...I thought about E when the slebs did that first task on the balancing platform...I recalled you saying in yesterday's morning thread that he didn't do heights. Don said to me...I bet you'd do that and I said yes, but I wouldn't have liked it when the wind picked up.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely sunny morning with a light breeze 8-)

Will get the washing machine on as soon as Grumpy gets out of the bed  and I'll do my domestic goddess bit this morning.

Might be able to get outside and do something this afternoon.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Merry morning everyone - a glorious sunny day and I'd kill to be home :D so much to do in the garden / at home and just not enough time over the weekends to get it all done, esp when both weekend days are planned with things.

Ally and Jan enjoy your days doing all the bits you're doing - have fun!

Usual / usual for me so nothing exciting to report.

have a lovely day everyone xxxx

Good morning all, it's another foggy one here but the sun's trying to break through.

Joe got back from Cornwall at 1.40am, I waited up to see him. He'd sent me a photo of his lunch on Saturday, he and Amanda had gone to St Ives and were having lunch at a seafood restaurant, in the photo was the whole crab and salad which he'd ordered. I was so jealous, I love crab. It takes me back to Saturday afternoons at my Great Grandmother's house in the early 70s and having fresh crab on lovely crusty bread

Seeing as it's finally stopped raining I'd better pick the leaves from next door's trees up off the lawn in the back garden, the cherry tree is now completely bare but the maple hasn't lost many leaves yet. I might shampoo the carpets too or at least make a start as I'm not sure how much shampoo I've got left.

John's at work waiting for a breakdown truck. His car had a warning message popping up on the screen saying that a service was needed and the oil replacing, he thought it was a bit early as it's only been on the road since March and done 7000 miles so he called the dealership and they said that it was just a glitch with the software and an update was available so they booked it in for that to be done on Saturday morning. They called and said that the service did actually need doing, and the update hadn't worked after all. He collected it on Saturday lunchtime and then it was parked on the drive until yesterday afternoon. I noticed oil on the drive when we were going out, he parked up outside a shop and when he moved the car there was more oil. He parked it on the road when we got home because the drive is pretty new and it was still leaking when he checked afterwards. Anyway, a courtesy car and breakdown truck are on the way to him and they've said that they'll arrange to have the drive cleaned if needed.

He couldn't watch Ally  I don't mind heights, but definitely not in that wind  Think it's going to be a great series, so far I like all of them.........that will probably change though

Blue Wave for us this afternoon and that's about it.

Have a good day :D

Afternoon everyone :)

Another one who hates heights here - Ria and Frank will tell you how I got dizzy near the floor to ceiling windows in Birmingham Library

Oh Jo, poor old John, hope it won't be anything too expensive with the car! I'm glad Joe had a nice holiday.

Busy day today, out early with B who had a day off, met Em for lunch in M&S, got some wool and buttons from the market for D, got a couple of small Christmas presents then got the bus home. It's been a very cold day, but sunny and dry :) Zumba tonight :)

Afternoon all, we’ve been out and about. I went to the gym and then we went off shopping, Edward wanted slippers and I wanted knitting wool, patterns and some buttons. In the middle of it all Miss Osc phoned to say SIL was in A&E - he has a swollen ankle and gp was worried that he might have a clot  Apparently not a clot, thankfully, but he has been sent home with anti-inflammatories and a referral to a rheumatologist. This is the third time this year that he has had some problems and he is very frustrated now because today he spent €400 in a private A&E rather than spend up maybe to 15 hours in a public one. Still, good it wasn’t a clot though.
