Morning Ally, have a good one :)

Morning all :) I'm going to the Victorian Market with D today. She's just renewed her bus pass which was a bit of a palaver as she hadn't used it for years, so it didn't renew automatically. We looked online and the council website said she needed to do it at the library, and take all sorts of ID :? In the end I rang the council and sorted it for her 8-)

So, we're using it today by taking the bus down to the Quays. The Market is lovely, but we'll be taking it slowly as D gets easily puffed these days, in cold weather. Mick has gone to the Nuffield again, for his physio.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning all, it's sunny here and not as cold as yesterday.

Bill had his walk first thing, I'm now doing some housework and will walk him again after lunch and then we'll be back for the Tesco delivery between 2 and 3. We're off to the Odeon tonight to see the Le Mans film. I've booked seats at the back so that I won't disturb anyone with the screen on my Kindle, I've got no interest whatsoever in motor racing but John really wants to see it  I can have two and a half hours of undisturbed reading!

Have a good day all!

Kaz, that all sounds lovely! We gave the German Market in Birmingham a miss last year, it never changes year after year and is pretty expensive.

Morning all, it is a dreary wet morning here. We were woken at 12.30am by the resurfacing works on the street and the steamroller trundling up and down making the whole house vibrate - it took me ages to get back to sleep afterwards  I’m off to the gym shortly and will head off to the supermarket afterwards as I want to be back for today’s live hearings from Washington. We had a lovely meal out last night for Michael’s birthday, he really enjoyed himself, he loves family occasions. Telly and knitting this afternoon and evening.

Bright and sunny here and no frost 8-)

Not much happening today, we're off to Blue Wave this afternoon and that's about it.

Have a good day :D

Afternoon everyone

Lots of fluffy white clouds and blue sky after last night/early morning rain and thunderstorm. Lots of lovely rain :Hi: :Hi: Feeling quite warm 8-) 8-)

Lovely trip down yesterday, we were early, so got Lidl's out of the way and headed off to the campsite. A very pleasant cabin, warm and rather cheap this time of year. Lots of chatting and catching up, then off to eat. Okay ish, but we both thought it was very expensive, but then we're not used to the Algarve prices any more  ;) Or the noise

Up earlier than our friends, but had a coffee with them and then headed off to Aldi - got breakfast there and we were back at the bar by 11.30 8-) Had a couple of beers, (much needed  )

Just had a roll, also much needed and are waiting for Denny to arrive.

Molly was happy to see us and has had some treats

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Osc, hope you have a better nights sleep tonight and a belated Happy Birthday to Michael - 10? Berlimey

Howdy all - a bit of a nippy and rather dull day in London, the sun is trying really hard to shine through but the clouds are having none of it.

Gosh Osc, how much longer for the road works? I know needs must but still... that's a lot of noise for that time of night.
Jan, glad you had a good time but always good to be back home
Kaz, hope the market is fun - it always sounds so lovely.
Jo, Nadine and I went to the B'ham market a few years back - it was so so crowded (but then most are)
Ally and Jen, enjoy your respective days

A lovely usual / usual for me. Bossman is away so it's blessed peace at work :D - enoiugh to do but no energy or motivation unfortunately so will just plod for the day. And then home this evening to dig out some paperwork that I need for tomorrow but that's about the extend of my business :D

Have a lovely day all xx

We had a lovely time :) Some of the stalls are a bit pricey, but many aren't, and the actors are fun, playing street urchins, chimney sweeps, postman and the like in full costume :D
