Morning Ally, morning everyone

A lovely, sunny morning, after rather a chilly (7C ) night. Think we might struggle up to 18C later 8-)

Washing machine on again  Thick jumpers this time.

Sausages butties for breakfast, roast chicken for dinner :D

Inbetween, I'll finish off the cleaning and then we'll transplant two cuttings, given by a friend. They're now triffids  and will go well by the fence separating us and the idiots next door. No doubt we'll be treated to two darking bogs, right by the fence as we're doing it  :cute: :cute:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Ally, and everyone.

We've just had a phone call from D, her elder sister died suddenly this morning. She's very shaken, so we're about to go round to be with her. Some VV vibes for her would be much appreciated, thanks everyone.

xxx

Lots of vibes for D and for you Kaz; that must have been a terrible shock.
Foggy here and grey, it's very murky indeed.
Another pigeon flew into the back bedroom window the other day. It must have been going at a rate of knots. I felt the window shake and feathers fell on the ground in front of the French windows. There is a big greasy mark on the window; body, wings, feet, head - you can even make out the eye! We must have the daftest pigeons in the north around here.
Son, his gf and Sil are coming for Sunday dinner which will be nice.
Have a good day all.

Good morning all. Yet more rain here this morning.

The plan was that we'd take Bill up to Hednesford Hills (his absolute favourite place to go, mine too) but the weather's put paid to that. Hopefully it might dry up later. I could do with tidying my Nan and Grandad's grave which is in the cemetery there too. The weather's stopped me doing that many times lately. My Dad's always took such lovely care of it, he's an only child so it's all down to him, but he's been having problems with his leg so hasn't been able to get there as often as he'd like so I'd like to get it looking nice for him as we'll be taking him before Christmas to put a holly wreath on there. It'll be 43 years on Dec 4th since we lost our Nan, I still miss her so much :(

Oh Kaz, that's very sad news. My love and thoughts are with D and you all xx

Have a good day all!

Morning all, it is dull and dreary here but dry at the moment and not too cold. Edward is watching golf from Dubai. No plan for the day, just usual stuff.

Such a shock for D, Kaz :( she is lucky to have you nearby.

Fine drizzle and damp here.

Kaz what a shock for D, so sorry for her loss, thoughts are with you all xx

Not a lot happening here, washing's on the go and I plan to get the Christmas cards written. Roast chicken for dinner, vanilla blancmange with lemon and lime jelly for pud.

Have a good day

Thank you very much everyone. We spent a few hours with D yesterday, she was a bit shaken but ok. I'll be up there again tomorrow. We'll be taking her to the funeral, Brenda lived in Clacton so it will be a long day. No date for it yet, but it's usually about three weeks these days, so probably just before Christmas :(
