Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 29 Dec 2019, 07:23

Good morning.

Sunny climes again. 8-)

The trainers are on and after a coffee it'll be a good long run for me to work off some of the excess of Nerja.

Back to pootle. I have a big fat Mark Billingham book that I'm itching to start reading.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another lovely day, the sun is up and although it's cold at the moment, it'll soon warm up.

Oh., love Mark Billingham :D

Off to Ourique after coffee. Dragging Grumpy to the doc's  His shoulder has been painful for about a month (typical bloke, only moans about it once a day  ) and there is also a rather unpleasant mark there. As we are going in today to do the shopping, I've just told him we can go via the doc's. And he agreed  so he must be worried.

Will buy a cooked chicken and nice bread for breakfast and then it's back at that drive. Almost there, then I have the drive coming up to the house to do. we have some (illegal) roundup, so will get Grumpy to use that on parts, where I know Molly won't be walking.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning, dwellers in warmth! Enjoy your book Ally and don't knock yourself out with the groundskeeping Jan.
Grey, damp and grim here and that's just me. The weather's the same.
Had a bit too much to drik yesterday (well, if they will buy me gin for Christmas..) so won't be doing much this morning.
This afternoon will probably hold cursing as Leeds United concede a late goal at Birmingham City.
Chicken for Sunday dinner and the only drink I'm having tonight is a cup of tea!
Have a good day all.

In and out at the doc's, he spent more time listening to her talk about brexit  She thinks the pain is just age  he thinks it's arthritis, so he can take some of my tumeric and see.

As regards to the mark on his shoulder, she thinks it's nothing to worry about, but took a photo and will send it to Evora Hospital. They will contact him with an appointment within 6 weeks. Never been to Evora before, so we'll stay a night there.

The chicken was filling and I'm just waiting for it to settle down  before I go out bending over

Morning all :)

Ally, I could really use some exercise myself after the non-stop eating this past week :o  Mind you, I did manage to get my new skirt on this morning, I popped into White Stuff yesterday, will post on Boutique later :)

Jan, I hope Grumpy's shoulder will be nothing to worry about! :)

Mother's ruin, Crommers? Tut! ;) Enjoy the footie later :D

Just a quick apology cum warning, everyone. We get dozens of spammers here every day, but myself and my lovely team work hard zapping them before they get a chance to post their nonsense here. Unfortunately one got through yesterday and posted a dodgy link here on Cafe! None of us admins were around to see it, but thanks to Frank contacting me to let me know, I immediately came on to delete both spammer and content! Thanks again Frank :D 8-)

Hopefully it won't happen again, but PLEASE everyone if you do spot anything on here that looks dodgy do NOT click on it, just leave it for admin to sort it out. It will most likely be porn ( :o ) and full of viruses that could infect your device.

Afternoon all :)

Bright and sunny here :D sadly nowhere near as warm as where you both are Ally and Jan.

Hope Grumpy's shoulder isn't anything to worry about Jan, glad the dcctor is being safe and getting it checked.

Ooops Crommers, been there done that

We're still in recovery mode, slept in again and only just having brekkie. Can't be bothered with a roast dinner after all the Christmas food so it's poached salmon and veggies later. The one concession to Sunday is the vanilla blancmange with lemon and lime jelly for pud :D

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon all, a lazy morning here, up a bit later than usual. However, the ironing must be tackled this afternoon. We’ve been watching the 25th anniversary concert of Les Miserables, wonderful, especially when they brought on the four original Jean Valjeans to sing at the end including Ireland’s own Colm Wilkinson, the original and very best.
