Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 03 Jan 2020, 06:49

Good morning.

Another warm sunny day forecast. 8-)

Off for a walk with my personal trainer then back to get ready and go to El Porton which is holding an exhibition featuring photos by the late, great Terry O'Neill of the Stones and the Beatles. Really looking forward to seeing them.

We'll have some lunch when we're out. :D

Tonight it's Friday beers and tapas. :D :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Misty start and hoping for a sunny day. Yesterday got cloudy, so felt quite cold.

Still not walking upright  I over did it yesterday morning and set myself backwards  so I'll do everything slowly tis morning. Took me 15 minutes just to get upo and dressed

Ironing this morning and I'll make a keema curry for tomorrow. Also need to do my least favourite job, clean the deep fat fryer

Jose Felipe will be here sometime with a dozen eggs, Grumpy will be in poached egg heaven

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Take it steady today Jan. That exhibition does sound good Ally.
Morning all. I'm doing a bit of batch cooking today, cooking a beef stew and baking some bread.
Other than that it's a spot of on line shopping and a quick trip to the shops.
Have a good one all.

Morning all......almost

Raining here

Definitely time to take it easy Jan, hope your back eases xx

Enjoy the exhibition Ally.

We were planning to take the outside lights down, but looking at the weather it's not going to happen today. Not really a problem, we can just unplug them if they're not down in the next couple of days and wait for a nice dry day. `We'll do the inside over the weekend.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good afternoon all, it's sunny and quite breezy here after a rainy night.

Bill's had a long walk, I've done two loads of washing, finished the jigsaw I've been doing over the holiday and now Joe's back from work. He's off to see Amanda shortly though, she goes back to Falmouth tomorrow :( The three weeks that she's been back have flown by!

Ally, the exhibition sounds very interesting!

Jen, I packed Christmas away last weekend, although I left the tree and it's lights outside and planned to leave it until this weekend but saw we were forecast rain for last night so decided to get the lights off and get it moved while it was still dry.

Have a good day all!

Evening everyone :)

I went out quite early for a longish walk, into town and back, picked up some nail polish remover as I forgot to get any yesterday, then came home and did another thorough clean - my sister Julie and her husband Paul are coming tomorrow! :Hi:

Really looking forward to seeing them :) They're coming by train, so we'll pick them up at the station. Only staying until lunchtime on Sunday, but it will be lovely :)

We took the tree down last Sunday, but will keep the candles, cards etc, until after our visitors leave ;)

Have a good evening :) xx

Hope your visit is fab Kaz! :D

Well our day didn't QUITE go to plan!! I'd arranged to meet Jen at a café near to the cinema so we could have some lunch first, we did this and then sauntered along to the cinema - only to be told there were no more seats for that showing!! Grrrr!!!!! Next showing didn't start for two hours so we decided to go on our next day off instead (which is next Thursday) - and instead of seeing the film as planned, we walked up to the cathedral for a walk round, and another hot drink before a last hug before we went our own ways. Never thought to pre-book as I wasn't expecting a Friday afternoon to be so full! :(

Since then have just messed about, took another few decs down and cleaned the patio doors, will finish off and put everything back in the loft tomorrow.

It's been a glorious day, wall to wall sunshine! :D
