Good morning Sunday

Postby cruiser2 » 26 Jan 2020, 08:32

Good morning,
It is cold with some clouds. Will be going to Halfords when they open to get a new bulb. One of the rear stop lights is not working. Can fit it myself.
Then may do some gardening. Weeds are starting to show despite the cold weather.
Then just pootling.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning Cruiser, morning everyone

Cloudy this morning, but the sun is also out. We have the cloud sat over us at the moment, but can see some blue bits ;)

Washing machine will be on and then I'm just pootling this morning. We have an afternoon/early evening of footie :Hi:

Grumpy will be playing with the wood again, rain stopped play yesterday

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everyone.

Yayyyyy. We have our Spanish sunshine back. 8-) 8-) It's forecast 21 degrees and feels lovely and warm already.

I went for a bike ride yesterday with a friend and she's just whatsapped me to say she can hardly walk. I told her 20kms was too far after not cycling for 30 years.

Conor's coming over shortly and we're going to Jose's to watch the Malaga game then have lunch in Gambrinus.

DOI and Vera tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Morning all, never made it in here yesterday :D We went into town, bought lovely new dance shoes, and a few other bits and pieces, getting home mid-afternoon. Then just settled in for the evening and it was almost bedtime before I realised I hadn’t posted. It is cloudy here today and there was rain earlier. No real plan for the day, I may do some ironing. No doubt Edward will be watching sport.

Good morning all. I feel for your friend Ally!
It is raining here. In a while I need to get to the cash machine at our Sainsbury's local; I have a dentist visit tomorrow. Just an inspection but one of my molars is a bit tender.
Chicken for Sunday dinner and Vera tonight. I like watching it to see if I recognise any of the locations! I did recognise the village of Craster in one episode.
Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon all :D

Dull and overcast at the moment, every now and then the sun comes out, not for long though

Lots of must see progs on the box tonight, Dr Who, DOI, Vera, Call the Midwife, The Trial of Christine Keeler, and Hawaii Five-0, and many of them clash. Thank goodness for the sky box, we'll be playing catch up tomorrow

Having another lazy day, roast chicken for dinner followed by raspberry blancmange and jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day :D

It has turned into a foul day here. Very cold and icy flurries of rain. :(

Afternoon all!

Ally your poor friend! :?

Not much to report here, a nice quiet Sunday! Lots of rain, we've been watching stuff on the BT box - the Tom Kerridge show set in Gloucester, and a couple of episodes of Brokenwood :)

We had lamb chops and veggies for lunch, now Mick's gone to the gym, B is out walking the pups with her friend Holly and their friend Humphrey, the pug  Just about to remake our bed, then settle down to watch DOI :D and

Love to everyone :) xxx

Evening all - we've also had a relaxing day (I seem to be relaxing quite a bit lately!!)

Tom had a day of not working today, so we had a lie in (rare!) and then went to Seaham as the weather was rubbish, grey and damp, not really good walking weather, plus his bad knee is playing up as it often does on a Sunday - well he will insist he can manage a day on his feet with the dogs/farm all day on a Saturday!! So a gentle stroll along a windy beach and then a hot coffee in a nice place on the sea front. Most pleasant.

I have to giggle.....naughty me!! My work mates (and bosses) planned a working weekend looking at and buying new stock in London....on the very weekend the local news was telling people don't travel on the trains to London from the NE as they are doing major repairs near to KX......of course it is this weekend they need to be there! So hastily arranged travel plans, Durham to Huddersfield, to Manchester and finally to London yesterday, today's return was London - Sheffield - Durham. Dear me, what a palaver! A three hour journey would take 7 hours!!! Rather them than me....we could choose whether or not to go, 6 did, the 4 remaining stayed back and worked as normal - sorry I'm not giving up my weekend!!
