Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 11 Feb 2020, 06:37

Good morning.

Sunny and warm with 23 degrees forecast. Yesterday it was 27 walking round the city...my friends were loving their t shirts and shorts.

Usual 2 hours, coffee and pitufo then classes 4 - 7.

After Sunday's 22km yompette and yesterday's mini marathon in Malaga I shall get home tonight and zonk on the sofa.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally & anybody else who is up.
It is still very windy. There have been hai stones in the night. Some are still lodging on the roof of one of the houses across the road. Have been for the paper in the car. Not going out again today.
Had a quiet day yesterday. We had our grand-daughter for two days. On Sunday morning we were wondering how she would get back to Southampton. She had bookeda train ticket to go direct from Manchester to Southampton. But with trains being cancelled and somebeing replaced by buses she was wondering if she would be able to get back.
After several phone calls to various contacts, found someone who was driving from near us to Heathrow. Left at 5.00 p.m and got there at 10.30 p.m.
Got aphone call to say she was staying with her boy friend who lives near there.
Have a good day everybody

Morning Ally, Crioser and everyone

Foggy start, but we are forecast a lovely, sunny day.

Late start, caused by a bad night on Sunday and all the unused to exercise too

Will put the washing out once the sun is out and we're just going to have a gentle pootle today. Spray the weeds, stain some wood. Gentle stuff

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Enjoy your gentle day Jan. T-shirts and shorts Ally! The last few days when dog walkers have passed our front window, half the time all you can see is a nose poking out inbetween the woolly hat and scarf, plus massive coats and stout boots!
It's still windy here too Cruiser. We had snow last night and again this morning, but it didn't settle. Our son's girlfriend had to go to London on Sunday. all the trains were cancelled and it took her six hours on the bus.
Later on MrsC has an appointment at the bank. Apart from going there and for a paper I can't see us stirring too far today, it's not the weather for it.
I wonder if Jen has recovered from her weekend yet? ;)
Have a good day all.

Monring all

27 degrees Ally - I think I'd happily kill for that! :D
Cruiser, glad your grand daughter is OK and hopefully she made the rest of the journey OK yesterday and got home safe?
Jan, enjoy the 'gentle' day - although not sure you ever really have one of those :D you two are always busy doing something!
Crommers, we've got a lovely sunny day down here; would love to be home, but agree - if dull and grey then there's nothing nicer than knowing you don't have to be anywhere anytime soon. Enjoy quiet indoor time

Early start for me this morning so I could swing past my friends to let her dogs out before I headed to the train station. Last of the IT roll out today and then hopefully just a few small tweaks for any potential teething issues. And then catch up on the admin things that need doing.

Have a lovely everyone; enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Good morning all.

It's sunny and bitterly cold here and the wind is still strong, I walked Billy around the village first thing and we had snow as we walked; he dragged me home, stopping just to shake himself every now and again  He was far from impressed but it'd looked nice when we left the house.
I was going to walk to town afterwards but caught the bus instead.

I just need to pop out to M&S tonight, it's just the food one that we have here but I've ordered a couple of sets of mugs to replace the ones we have as they're looking a bit tired and they've had 20% off homeware recently.

Have a good day all!

Afternoon all, it is bright here at the moment but windy and cold. We do plan to walk down to buy some fish later. Edward has been busy making bread and I want to try and make up a particular soup in the soup maker - I had it for lunch yesterday while out and want to recreate it. Otherwise no plans for the day - stay warm everyone!
