Morning Ally, morning everyone

Grey and hazy this morning, once that goes, we'll have another pleasantly warm day 8-)

Hope Osc had as good a night as she could and is making a speedy recovery xx

Cooking head on this morning :D Pumpkin and chilli soup, veg soup and favas. Some of the favas for tonight, the rest for the freezer and most of the soups for the freezer too. Might sample one for lunch though ;)

And gardening head on this afternoon  Severa of the pots blew over in the wind the other day and one plant snapped off, so that's in a bucket of water and will be planted in a new pot later. Also need to see if we have some larger pots to re-pot some triffids.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing at home x

Morning all

thinking of Osc and hope all went as well as it could x

Ally enjoy the lazy day and Jan enjoy the day - a bit of cooking and a bit of gardening sounds about perfect to me. And pumpkin and chilli soup sounds delicous!

Another work from home day today; but being very cheeky and going to be out for a bit of the afternoon for some personal beauty appointments - needs must! ;-) tomorrow I'm going to do one more trip to the office; there is talk of London going on lock down as of this weekend so i want to make sure the office is 100% set for being shut for the foreseeable future.

Online Pilates at 9am; so keeping fit whilst being home

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning everybody,

Cloudy but the sun is trying to come out.

Someone is coming to collect our wall clock. It has stopped working. It is a good German clock. The repair and service is not cheap but will be worth it
The clock has a Westminster chime and a pendulum. Had it many years.
May do some gardening this afretnoon.
Vibes for Osc.

I hope Osc is as recovering well.
Eliza is here, she is hanging the washing out with MrsC.
Not a bad morning here. Not raining anyway.
I applied for the marriage allowance not long since and the cheque came through yesterday, very speedy work. I need to pay it in today sometime.
Have a good day all.

Good morning all, we have more rain here.

My plan, as no rain was forecast, was to walk with Billy around to the cemetery with a pot of Hyacinths for on my Nan’s grave. Mom usually takes a flowering plant for Mother’s Day but I said I’d do it this year as it’d mean her getting a bus. I bought a couple of these lovely pots in M&S the other day and when we walk Billy on the Hills on Saturday I’ll take the other one to the cemetery in Hednesford where my other Nan (my Dad’s Mom) is buried.

I’ve just ordered a couple of jigsaws which should come next week and I’ve got a delivery of coffee pods coming from Amazon today.

Joe left at 6 to drive to Cornwall to bring Amanda back, they’ll pack as much in his car as they can and plan to leave at tomorrow lunchtime. He said it’ll need another trip down though to empty her flat as there’s no way that all of her belongings will fit in his Corsa

I hope Osc is doing well xx

Have a good day all xx

Good morning, everyone!

You can never have too much garlic, Jan

How are you going to get on working from home, Meriad?

Seeing what it's costing to restore Big Ben, Cruiser, I hope your bill's not too ruinous!!

Overcast and damp here in Dorset. Went out earlier up the local One Stop shop for a paper, pint of milk and a loaf, it seemed reasonably well stocked up and everything seemed pretty normal.

Just used the eConsult system to put in repeat prescription requests for Mrs O and myself, and got an acknowledgement back from the surgery that they'd processed them within 10 minutes - all very efficient!
Will have to go up and collect them from the pharmacy next Thursday.

We're now holed up in separate rooms whilst our lady painter/decorator strips the 30yo wallpaper off the hallway walls! :D

Take care all ....
