It's not a bad idea though. I was in a small Marks and Sparks the other day which only had baskets or tiny trolleys. Try getting 16 packs of toilet roll in one of those!

Another good one is that they are going to cross-ref loyalty cards with debit / credit card payments and anyone found to be stockpiling will be banned.

Just keep it as a rumour but put it out on social media and let it run.....

And another was to use the store CCTV and when anyone is seen to be overloading a siren will go off with an announcement, sort of Gazzumba, gazzumba "Lady in red jacket and black leggings buying up bog rolls, aisle three - red jacket and black leggings. Thank you."

Shaming them is a good idea.
I did wonder if Sainsbury's could use the Nectar card data to determine who was a regular at a particular store.
If you're a regular come in but it's one of anything only, not a regular? Sling your hook.
But I suppose that might be too complicated.

I had mentioned the 'open one hour early for elderly and at risk' people to my neighbour who falls into the category. She ended up not going but heard from a friend that did go, that apparently Sainsbury's had to cancel the extra hour as a huge crowd of people in their 30's / 40's turned up trying to bully their way in. Just madness!

They have no shame and don't care what you think. Or they wouldn't be doing it in the first place.

#1 son was wondering if they spread jam or chocolate spread on the toilet roll?? #1 Grandson thought that there must be a rumour on social media that if you totally wrap yourself in toilet roll you will be safe.

Not good is that #2 Grandson has lost his job in Canada, my SonIL is probably going to lose his job and they are 2 months from sponsored citizenship which was sponsored by his job.

Not much good news anywhere right now. But my Daughter is working in Insurance over there. Seems her office is overrun and there is no chance of her losing her job...
