I know you don't post much but hope you see this message... hope you've had a lovely day so far despite all the oddness of the world at the moment.

Thank you. This really brightened my day today and just what I needed.

Our family is all getting niggly with each other as we have been together since march 7 as we flew to Hawaii for our 20th wedding anniversary. When we got home we got put into self isolation, and when we leave that on Wednesday we will be in lockdown for at least another 3 weeks. The kids are really missing their friends and I’m missing my quiet space. I’m exhausted having them around all the time. Even the school holidays I have planned so the kids are only with me no more than 3 days as it tires me out too much.

It was a strange birthday, but exactly what I was wanting. I normally get to the end of March totally worn out, and all I want to do is stay home. Well, I got my wish this year. silver linings and all.

Good to 'see' you, kiddo, and good to hear that you had a wonderful anniversary and birthday.

Shame about the SI and the quarantine, but on a brighter note NZ is in a better position than most other places, let's hope it stays that way.

And as you are back you now need to keep us up to speed on things... some of us miss you. ;)

Phew.

This would definitely make a good novel plot.

I’m so pleased your son is home and I’m sorry to read about your niece.
