Morning Saundra, Cruiser and everyone

Grey, wet and windy. Don't mind the wet though :D

No point getting up too early, so had coffee and a read in bed.

General think of things to do inside today, although we are going scrumping later ;) Not really scrumping, but our nice neighbours have a lot of lemons on their tree and ours are still too small, so I've got permission to go and get some. Just need to find where they've hidden the gate key

Roast chicken for dinner, with veg from the garden :Hi:

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning all :)

Saundra, I hope the tourists stay away again 8-) xxx

Enjoy the sunshine, Cruiser :) xxx

Ooh Jan, fresh lemons, lovely! :D  xxx

Well the sunshine is beautiful here, and it's cheered me up - I was a bit down yesterday but the clouds have lifted :) I need to pick up some milk from the little Co-op (did that huge shop on Friday and forgot my milk) and drop some bits round to D - carefully 8-) Mick plans to mow the lawn this afternoon - I may sit on the decking and watch :P

Take care everyone :) xxx

Good morning all. Enjoy the rain Jan, Cruiser, Kaz and Saundra and me will enjoy the sun!
A beautiful morning here but the wind is still a bit chilly.
MrsC has had a call from her Aunt Anne. Desperate times! Usually Anne's daughter colours her hair for her but obviously that can't happen now. So she's had to ask her husband to do it! :o
I hope it went well or else it's the doghouse for him.
MrsC's Uncle George (Jud) is in a home now. They have discovered a benign tumour at the front of his brain. Because Jud has no medical history - he hasn't seen a doctor since he was a child - they don't know how long he's had it. But it was causing him to lose his balance so he couldn't stay at home.
Right, groundhog day here again - chicken for dinner and me and MrsC staring at each other like a pair of cats!
Have a good day all.

Couldn't help laughing at Aunt Anne's husband's dilemma, Crommers!

Enjoy your rain, Jan ...

Sunny, but not as sunny as one might have been led to believe by the weather forecasters down here. But we had a washing load out early on the line, and there's a good drying breeze. No real sign of many folk out and about this morning, which is encouraging. Pork chop, stewed bramley apple, cabbage, onion and gravy for lunch. I'm progressing with the shredding, and have reached 1997. Goodness knows how I'm going to dispose of it all as Dorset Council don't encourage it in their bins, and the tip's shut for the duration anyway.

Have a good day, all!

Morning all :D

So lovely to wake up to bright sunshine 8-) we've been very lucky here this week.

I'll be in Aunt Anne's position soon Crommers, let's hope E survives, heaven help us :o

We're hoping the tourists stay away too Saundra. Crowds like the 3000+ selfish people who gathered in a London park yesterday have made it more likely the lockdown will be tightened. Most people are sticking to the guidelines so yet again a small minority risk making life less fun for the majority, it does annoy me

Another lazy Sunday for us, planning to take advantage of the weather and sit out in the garden this afternoon. It's roast chicken and veggies later for dinner, followed by vanilla blancmange and lemon and lime jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, it’s been a nice day so far here too although rain is forecast. We spent time on the terrace this morning getting some fresh air, reading, just making the most of the sunshine. Then it got a bit chilly so I came in. Edward will be making some apple jelly for me today, he freezes the juice then does a batch as needed. I’ve done some tidying around and sorted some laundry. Nothing much planned for the rest of the day.

I've been sitting out too Osc, on our garden bench at the front. Not many people about either.
I did have a word with our next door neighbours Steve and Nicola. They have two young daughters, one of them just into the stroppy teenage years. They are finding lockdown a bit testing.
