Good morning,Saundra, and everyone :)

Glad your delivery is coming Saundra, and hope you can manage ok without those items as

It's sunny here too, and as I sorted, cleaned, and oiled my garden furniture yesterday I might spend some time out there today 8-) I do have a big pile of ironing to tackle at some point. B is off today, starting the three day off part of her shift patter. Harry went back to work yesterday, he said it was tiring but went ok :)

Wishing the PM the very best in his fight!

Take care everyone, stay well, love to all xxx

Morning everyone

Grey, damp but warm this morning. Rained most of the night and we have showers forecast for today.

Glad H is doing okay x

Ironing for me too Kaz. All the washing dried nicely yesterday in the sun and breeze. Because of the damp, the plans for planting out cuttings will have to wait. But if it brightens up, I'll drag him out

Other than that, it's the gigantic jigsaw. We've had to utilise another table for all the bits   an the pair of us get in each others way, as he works one end and me the other, looking for bits 8-)

A concoction for dinner, making it up as I go along, I think.

Have as good a day as you can everyone x

Morning all - another glorious sunny morning and promising to be a nice warm day,

I managed to sort more of the greenhouse yesterday so now ready for planting up - a bit late in the year but I'm sure I'll still get enough produce for myself and family and a few friends.

Have a few conference calls this afternoon so 2pm onwards I need to be near the computer so will crack on with a few things this morning. Will clean the french doors in the lounge and give the lounge itself a much needed clean. And at some point during this forced time at home I need to sort the pond - it needs a new pump but also has a leak somewhere and I didn't get it fixed when I should have during the winter; so now need to come up with plan B - which I suspect means topping up with tap water far too often :(

Saundra, glad you're getting your deliveries and sorry they don't always have what you order.
Kaz, makes sense to reap the benefits of your work yesterday - which reminds me, I should get the seat cushions out for my outside seats; they'll probably need their annual wash and it's perfect drying weather for them
Jan, not often we have the good weather here in the UK and you don't - but then, every bit of rain probably is very welcome and will hopefully keep your water levels up a bit?
Cruiser; makes sense to go shopping tomorrow - I will see if I can get one or two things delivered from bespoke shops, ie not general grocery. Then I'll be well set for the Easter Weekend.

Have a lovely day all xxxx

Morning all. Supermarket shop this am, if the queue isn't too long. If it is I'm coming straight home.
Lovely sunny morning but still a bit cool.
I have been waiting for two bottles of hand sanitiser coming which I ordered on Amazon. They are late and it's odds on somebody has nicked them.
If it stays nice I'll sit in the front garden and say hello to anyone passing.
Ria you are lucky to have your allotment at a time like this!
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny here 8-)

Saundra glad you're getting deliveries okay.
Hope the hand sanitizer turns up Crommers.
Glad H is feeling well enough to go back to work Kaz.

Not much happening here, our door bell seems to have given up the ghost. It's probably the battery, E will take a look shortly, betting it's one of the less common ones so not sure how easy it will be to get a replacement. If all else fails, we'll just have to put a notice on the door telling people to knock hard.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Oh good news re Harry Kaz! Donna went back to work also yesterday, her 7 days of SI are up and she says she feels a lot better and just wants to get back to her patients....she still has a horrible cough but that could last ages apparently :(

I've never not been able to sleep because of this situation, but reading about BJ last night made me go into a bit of a panic mode, and I am actually baulking at the thought of doing this blasted supermarket shop!! I'm scared to go! How mad is that? We're not completely out of stuff yet, but it's getting low and thinking of things for tea is becoming harder I wish him well and hope to goodness that he pulls through!

It's a gorgeous day here, I've washed a couple of throws and cushion covers so they're next to go out on the line, along with the innards of my Dyson stick which has been given a good old clean!

I'm trying to sort out being able to borrow ebooks from my library to go on my kindle, but it isn't a Fire and I can't find a way to do it. Looks like I'll have to stick to buying them when they are cheaper!!

Keep well all xxx

Good afternoon all, it’s lovely here!

I had my walk with Bill first thing and then walked to town and back, I’ve done over 8 miles so far. I needed to go to Barclays as we had quite an amount of cash here which we can’t use. They were sensibly only allowing one person in the branch at a time and I didn’t have to queue for very long, after that I popped to Home Bargains and got Bill’s treats and pasta!!!! They had pasta!!! They also had part baked rolls too so I got a couple of packs of those for in the cupboard. Gal, we’re the same. I hadn’t panic bought but we had enough to see us through a couple of weeks but that’s starting to run out now and it’s quite a challenge to put a meal together.

The bin has been emptied. As I walked through the estate I noticed that some people had put black bags out alongside the bins so I rushed back and bagged up the rubbish (I’d bought a roll of black bags from Home Bargains for it) which Joe had thrown out over the weekend while sorting his room and it was stacked up in carrier bags in the garage waiting for the tip to reopen. I filled four bags and thought that even if they didn’t take it, at least it was bagged up and a bit tidier but bless them, they’ve take it all.

Thoughts are with our PM, really hope he pulls through.

Really pleased to see that Harry’s doing better Kaz xx

Take care all, much love xxx

Gal, is there a smaller shop you could use, like a Co-op? I feel much safer in ours than I do in the huge Sainsbury's (((x)))

Jo, that's great about the rubbish. I suppose they're being a bit less strict, under the current circumstances 8-)
