I've made carrot, coriander and sweetcorn fritters for starters and a Moroccan vegetable tagine for mains.

Lemon and ginger sponge cake with vanilla ice cream for pud. :D

That all sounds delicious especially the pud!

I’m just about to start making toad in the hole with veg, and no doubt we’ll follow that with a piece or two of the choc chunk shortbread which I’ve baked this afternoon.

Ally, all of that sounds absolutely scrummy! :D

I made a spag bol sauce earlier, with some mince from the freezer, and B cooked some tricolor fusili pasta to go with it :) No pud, although we do have some lovely cranberry yoghurts if anyone fancies one.

Here’s my confession....I’d never made Yorkshire pudding until last weekend but I’d forgot to get ready made ones so needs must and it was, quite literally, a HUGE success (because it almost filled the oven  ) so with my new skills I can now make toad in the hole :Hi:

Jo, my first mum-in-law, a Yorkshirewoman, taught me many years ago, so I can make them with the best of 'em - but I often buy Aunt Bessie's if I CBA to  ;)
