Morning everyone

Warm already and we're in for a rather hot spell, until at least the end of next week 8-)

Off to Ourique this morning, dropping in the library books. I might risk getting some more, I'll see how it goes. Will do the supermarkets and will stop at the bar - if it's open - for a coffee.

And great excitement this afternoon :D I'm off to Jan's house, with a couple of other friends and we're going to have coffee, cake and a natter. We can easily self distance around her table, as it's big enough for about 20   I'll take her a cutting and some bulbs for her garden.

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning all, it’s a lovely day here and I am up bright early as I have my first treatment at 9.45. There won’t be too much traffic, thankfully, but I always leave myself lots of time going anywhere - my father always left time for a puncture, not that I could do anything about it if I got one :D Edward and Michael are going to kick a football around and hit a few golf balls on the closed golf course while I’m out. I don’t think we all would have got through this pandemic if it had been in the depths of winter, the longer days and mostly decent weather make it a bit easier.

Yes good luck Osc and you are right, things would have been much harder in the depths of winter.
MrsC's dad has fallen and we are trying to get through to the local gp surgery. No luck so far.
A beautiful day here, supposed to be hot later.
We are a bit concerned about David, one of our neighbours. He seems to be getting confused. He's the one who reversed his car into his next door neighbour's car the other day. He rarely drives now. His garden used to be immaculate, and I mean really immaculate, absolutely beautiful. Now it's looking a bit ragged. But last night we all put our bins out for emptying today. David comes out, looks in Sergio's bin, puts the lid down, looks in sister in laws bin then looks in our bin. Then walks back home. He's not well somehow.
I hope you all have lovely weather and a lovely day.

Morning all

Oh no Crommers, what a worry - how bad / OK is he? If needed call 101 and they may send a GP on a motor bike? As for David, can you speak to his sister-in-law and see if she can shed some light.
Osc, hope the appointment went as well as can be xxx
Ally, enjoy the pool and book - sounds quite idyllic as always
Jan, hope you get everything done and hope the bar is open. Please say hi to everyone from me

Well a usual usual pootling day for me; a bit of tidying in between checking emails and answering the odd phone call. And more potting on of plants to be done. I've got quite a bit that's ready to go out to the allotment but it's just too hot at the moment so I'll wait until the weekend when it's just that bit cooler; better for the plants.

Have a lovely day all x

Oh dear crommers, not good on either count. Hope you can something done about fil soon.

Well, change of plan here. We picked up a waif and stray outside Alentejana  so didn't get to the library, but I did get masks :Hi: :Hi: so bought a box for Mitchell too. Dropped them off and then maria at the bar.

Which is shut  :o Possibly permanently, couldn't understand what Maria was talking about. She really mumbles

Next door has finally put the taller fencing up, which now means the dog will be barking at us, but better that than jumping the fence. He still has the other end of our wooden fence to do. The pitchfork will stay by the front door for now.

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone x

Morning all :D

Sunny and warm 8-)

Enjoy your coffee and cake meet up Jan.
Hope your first treatment went well Osc xx
Hope you get through to the GP for FIL. Agree it sounds as though your neighbour's not well, wonder if it's the start of dementia.

Definitely a garden day for us, can't think of anything nicer.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Crommers, I hope your FiL is ok, and your neighbour ((x))

Osc good luck with your treatment (((x)))

*Waves to everyone*

Zumba this morning, then I hovered the whole house, as Mick cleaned the carpets yesterday, and we've been playing with the new "Karcher" window cleaner. I have a pile of ironing to do this afternoon, but I might leave it until tomorrow as it's forecast to be cooler :? ;)

Love to all xxx
