Good morning Saturday

Postby meriad » 06 Jun 2020, 06:08

Good morning everyone... a lovely sunny start to the day but such a nippy wind . Off to the allotment in a minute to water and then back home to redo all the cat proofing in the back garden. Eli has been escaping and I cannot figure out how so time to redo the whole thing. Not the easiest of tasks but needs must and fingers crossed I can get it all done today.

That's about it for my exciting day, hope yours is a bit more interesting :-)

xx

Morning Ria, morning everyone

Lovely and sunny, with a lovely cool breeze. Will get hot again later 8-)

Good luck escape proofing the garden Ria - not an easy task ;)

We're stone picking this morning, down in the field, so wearing jeans, which feels seriously weird  Will splash on some essential oil and anti-mozz before we go out.

Back to do some of the cleaning, then the pool and we're meeting friends this afternoon, down at the bar :Hi: :Hi:

And silly Saturday dinner is curry  Daft bat that I am

Have a great day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, no need to water the garden today. It’s like lovely sunny and dry May never happened.

John’s gone to Leicester today for a site visit, Tom’s gone to Shannon’s and Joe’s getting ready to go to Amanda’s. The plan is today that they sit in the Summer house with the doors wide open until the rain stops.

Suffice to say there hasn’t been a walk yet today. I think I’ll do some hoovering once I’ve finished this coffee.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all. Good luck Ria, a determined cat is not easy to confine!
cloudy and cool here. I've turned the mattress, MrsC is off to her dads shortly and we need some trackie bottoms for FiL. Normally we get them from Primark.
Pizza or pasta tonight with a bottle of red.
It is cool and cloudy here, strong winds and showers are forecast.
I'll get a paper and that will be me set for the day.
Have a good one everybody.

Crommers, I have cheap £8 Primark jeans for when I’m walking Bill and they’re looking worse for a lot of wear now. That’s one shop I’m really looking forward to opening, they do a facial sponge too which I’ve not seen anywhere else and I’m now using my last one.

  I have said all along that as soon as they significantly relax the regulations, the weather would revert to usual Irish summer and so it has come to pass  It’s dull, windy and cold with lots of rain forecast for later, and people are wearing woolly hats  We are having a lazy day although Edward is doing some baking. No plans whatsoever. They have brought forward a lot of the stages on our roadmap, but hairdressers still closed until 20th July :x

Good morning everybody,

It is still cloudy with lots of grey clouds.
Whwn I went into the garage this morning saw some water on one ofthe plastic bags hanging on a hook. Looked up and one of the wooden beams
supporting the tiles roof was damp. This was above electric acbles which powere the lights.
So I have phoned our house insurance who say we are covered for this damage. Someone will come either today or tomorrow to have a look and
possibly repair it. There is lead flashing over the tile onto the original brick wall. Never had any problems before.

Now just pootling.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny at the moment, but it's windy and rain's forecast for later.

Not much happening here, general pottering and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx
