To shop tomorrow?
Think I would be a bit scared to be truthful

No. Goodness knows, I enjoy a spot of non-essential shopping with the best, but where is the fun in it? :? The risk of infection, no trying things on, walking round on your own socially distanced? I think it will be online for me, for the foreseeable xx

I will be waiting for the novelty of it all to wear off before I join in. The clue is in the description 'non-essential shopping' and there is nothing that I desperately need at present.

Well, we need a washing machine, and we're not comfortable choosing on-line, so as soon as the local electrical appliance retailer opens .....

I'm going to give them a ring tomorrow to find out what their plans are.

I will be going on Tuesday.
Want a pair of shoes repaired.
Also want to go to a food stall in the market. The whole of the indoor market has been closed. The stall sells cooked meat, as well as roast potatoes and other
veg. You can get a dinner on a plstic tray for about £3.00. Very good value. They also sell barm cakes with freshly cut meat from differnt joints.
The stall is always busy.
Then taking books back to a shop which sells second hand books.

Will observe the two metre rule at all times. To me this is essential shopping.
What I really want is paint for the fence. B&Q and Screwfix have sold out.

I have a slightly different view. :?

We had one of the most strictest lockdowns. Like really strict. Absolutely no going out unless for essential shopping.

No hour for exercising that other countries had.

When lockdown started to lift, ie, to go shopping or for an hour of outside exercise it was amazing.

But...and here's the thing. That teeny bit of freedom didn't suddenly mean wayyyy hayyyy out we go.

Lockdown was lifted that tiny bit but not enough to make that much difference as we still felt scared.

Crack on another few weeks, rules adhered to, and things started to look and feel more relaxed.

Bringing me back to what's newly been happening in Spain...... shops are open, bars are open as are restuarants.

I felt a bit nervy last week visiting Miramar.
Thanks to rules and everyone 'obeying' them it was fine.

Ditto yesterday going into Málaga to meet the boys.

Again, I was a bit nervy thinking bus, other people, etc, but it was absolutely ok.

Even in Málaga city centre last night, a right metropolis of Spanish life and living, social distance was being maintened that I have to say had no detrimental effect on the fabulous atmosphere.

Here endeth my wee opinion on life here.

Well said ally I just think that in the uk a lot of people don't take any notice of the government or the police
And just do what they like

Thanks Saundra. X

I've never been one to bang on about anything political but there has been a massive difference from here to there (the UK) :?
