Sweets

I was browsing Facebook last night and there was a post on a local page by a new sweet shop that’s opened in the town. Reading through it said that they do local deliveries so I had a browse and ended up ordering some ‘quarters’ of sweets to be delivered to my parents as a surprise.
I ordered fudge, chocolate Brazils, pear drops, herbals, army and navy lozenges, licquorice Catherine wheels, aniseed balls and coconut mushrooms.

It was ordered just after Midnight and delivered at lunchtime, and delivery was only £1. My parents phoned me not long afterwards and said it was all lovely.
It’s so important to support these small local businesses.

Oh Jo, I go here every so often. Old traditional sweets at reasonable prices. Bonfire toffee, Kopp kops, Dandelion & Burdock, Sarsparilla drops - c'mon, who can resist those?

New sweet shop in town? You're lucky ducks!

The only new shop we're getting in town (opened earlier this week) is a vape shop ...... :D

As for supporting new businesses, I'm all in favour of it, but not at the expense of puffing clouds of steam into the air, flavoured or not!

This side of the Pennines, give us a break. It's like saying Mancaster has something to do with men when we know it's full of wussies. ;)

First thing I saw when I clicked on the link was Yorkshire mix, one of our old neighbours used to buy Tom and Joe a bag of that, bless him.

Ossie, we’ve got more than our fair share of vape shops

You can do online orders Shell, but it's just down the road and it smells so irresistible.

I feel a trip coming on. :D

Oh how lovely! There's a shop in Bourton-On-The-Water that has all the old-fashioned sweets in big jars :) Talk about like a kid in a sweetshop ;)
