I made a claim about a loan going back 16 years and I just got my claim agreed.

I might get a decent meal and some new clothes.

Actually it is quite substantial and a very pleasant surprise at over three times the amount of the loan!

Excellent. You'll also get a fair bit of interest added if it's going back over that length of time. The company paying you are obligated to deduct 20% tax at source from the interest, so depending on your other income etc., you may additionally be entitled to an income tax repayment in 2020/21 ....

Got a refund a few years back. It was a couple of thousands. Nearly as much as the loan.

Didbn't apply, just got a letter to say I was due a refund. Filled in the form and a few weks later the cheque came.
