Not sure I'll ever understand....

the mindset of the rich. And no, I know it's not all of them but I do work with some very 'precious' people.
So my boss is trying to sell his house and we had a number of viewing lined up for this week. However very unfortunately his housekeeper "C" was involved in an accident on Saturday (she was on her bike and collided with a car) so understandably can't work as she's in a lot of pain.
So boss has asked that all viewings scheduled for this week be cancelled as the house won't be clean. Seriously, just how much mess can one person make - the man is at work most days and either eats out at friends or gets take away (don't think he even knows how to cook)? But he refuses to make his own bed, or give the kitchen and bathroom a quick wipe himself. So, until either C can come back or we find a temp replacement in case C is away longer, all viewings are on hold.
I really really struggle with that; and he's not even embarrassed about it. I just don't get it - the mind boggles
