Bad service

I renewed my broadband Phone and added Tv to the scheme with BT. The contract was due for renewal on 1st July and I got a good deal.
Got the new TV box and tried t set it up. Got so far to install the programme but it stopped letting me finsh the installation.
Phoned Bt and I was asked to try differnt settngs but no success.
So an appointment was made for an engineer to come this morning between 8.00 a.m an 10.00a.m. This was confirmed by email. When he had not arrived I checked
my account which showed the problem had ben solved and the appointment cancelled.
So I phoned Bt again and spoke to a very nice lady. She apologised for the cancellation and said I should be entitled to a refund.
An official complaint has been raised whic will include finding who cancelled the first appointment.
The new appointment is on 21st July.
Will wait and see what happens. The lady I spoke to said she will phone me on 22nd July to make sure everthing is working correctly.
Good job I could easily understand what she was saying.
