Our not so nice neighbour

Is in deep doo doo with the police again

Some of his goats have escaped and are going onto Jose Antonio's land. We've been seeing them for a few days now.

Popped into the bar on our way back and Odette was telling me what happened. And son asked Brian to remove his goats from land that wasn't his and repair the fence.

Jose Antonio saw the goats on his land and asked his son to speak to Brian, as son speaks English. The fence has either been cut or pushed over, I couldn't quite get that bit.

Son asked Brian to remove the goats and repair the fence.

Brian did his normal - walk away.

So son called the police and the police have been up, issued him with a fine - again  - told him to repair the fence.

They start small and work up Jen, but would have been several hundred euros 8-)

I wish the police in this country were that proactive ......

Over here, the son's call of complaint would probably have been filed and forgotten.

I don't get why he's such an idiot - surely life would be so much nicer for him (and his wife) if he just did what he was meant to and not break the law time and time again and get on with people. I'd hate to live in a lovely community like yours Jan and not get on with anyone - you'd miss out on so much!

He's just plain weird. He was using the cement mixer earlier - it was 38C 8-) - and as Grumpy said, whatever he's doing, it'll crack open within days.

Jan, this Brian sounds very like the bloke over the road who has a conifer hedge. He walks away too, and he's as weird as anything.
Brian sounds as though he has a slate loose.

Aspergers, we think.

Ossie, we're in farming country and letting your animals out, to eat your neighbours field is just not done.

He was doing the cement mixer, she was on watch, checking the ducks and other animals don't come over here

What a way to live :?
