Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 24 Jul 2020, 05:35

Good morning.

Hot.

Run done and home for 7.25. Al - 1. Heat - 0.

Coffee then a swim.

Need to have a look online at the government form for travelling next week. Some folks saying fill it in now whereas others saying don't do it until 48 hours before flying.
So much conflicting information at the moment.

Friday beers and tapas with the gang tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

A lovely morning, cool at 20C  so another warmer day then ;)

Grumpy in his workshop, doing wood workery stuff  He's made the doors, almost exactly like the original kitchen one's, so they match. He's now playing with the router  and other stuff.

I'll get some of the cleaning done this morning, before it gets too hot. Then dive in the pool 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two, morning everyone

Well up at usual 5.30 to let the chickens out and then headed straight to the allotment to water; it was much needed as I didn't get there yesterday or the day before and we've had two quite warm days with a drying wind. But... we're not meant to use hosepipes to water, instead need to use watering cans filled up at a large(ish) water trough; which is fine really sort of, but the trough just fills up so slowly because they haven't got the pressure right (I think it's that) and I empty it fast that it can fill up so spend ages just waiting. Anyway, so I figured I'd be very naughty and head over for 6am when there's not another person in sight and use the expandable hose pipe that I keep over there - works a charm and light and easy to store away and no one knows. Which makes watering a much quicker job; albeit not quite by the rules

Got home and watered the back garden, now logged on to my work computer and have dealt with the overnight emails. Next to water the front garden and then just more of the normal pootling whilst working :D

Have a lovely day all

You rebel, Ria! ;)

Good morning all, it’s been pouring down all morning but the sun’s come out in the last 10 minutes so we’re now off for a walk. Once we get home, and hopefully Tom’s awake, John’s going to install our new security camera. I’m going to make some jam tarts with my new rolling pin, nothing exciting but I couldn’t find mine and haven’t been able to get a cheapo one on my Tesco order until this week

Have a good day all xx

Morning all, it’s a pleasant morning here, so far better than was forecast. Edward has headed off to play golf and I am going to the gym later. I’m expecting a Boots delivery today between 11.15 and 1.15, sigh, when I ordered it said delivery on Monday. Not that I am complaining about it coming early, but I shall just have to leave a note on the door asking the courier to leave it next door if it doesn’t arrive before I go to the gym. Coffee afterwards with the gym ladies and it looks as if there will be a nice group of us, even some who won’t be at class - only five allowed in class at the moment.

Morning all. I haven't been around much in the last couple of days due to baby sitting and moving the last furniture out of the bungalow. MrsC is taking the last meter readings today so that should be that.
It's a lovely day here. Wore a mask in a shop for the first time this morning. For some reason I felt an overwhelming urge to giggle like an idiot!
Sergio is stressed out because he has bought a new car - so no pasta this weekend! :o
The man has to frame himself, that's all I'll say!
Have a good day everyone.

Osc, I had an earlier than arranged delivery on Sunday. I’d booked it for Monday and had a DPD notification as I was getting ready to head into Lichfield with John and Tom saying that it’d be delivered within the next hour. If I’d checked my emails I’d have known sooner

Crommers, lovely to see you. How’s your father in law getting on?
