Over here, even the police cannot come through your gate, unless invited. Obviously, they need free access if there is a problem, but no-one, but no-one comes through the gate.

I noticed yesterday, on my walk down the drive, that rather a lot of stones have appeared by the fence posts, but on our side. Having thought about it, it can only be him, as he has done the same to most of his fence posts, both sides. Presumably to stop them from falling over - daft prat.

So I've just been down to the gate, used WD40 on the lock, to make sure it works. Every time we go out now, we'll have to lock it

We'll get another key cut for Jose Felipe, as he needs access for his sheep.

Jan, that must be trespass to land, surely? It could even be trespass to chattels if he has made changes to your property.

Have you considered a simple CCTV set up, or even dummy ones? I have seen all-singing, all-dancing battery operated / solar ones with WiFi and motion sensors, day / night vision, alarm and two-way audio at about £35 on eBay. Dummy ones are about a fiver.

Then go to Google images and print off some camera road signs, laminate them and fix one to the gate and one on the house. Let him know that you know what he's doing.

We've decided not to do anything, just yet.

I walked down and took photos, as well as stones, there is a small post, which wasn't there a couple of weeks ago. Not that we can prove anything, but they were watching me, so they are aware.

Just hate horrible neighbours, we were so lucky in our last house.

He can't Crommers, we're both fenced and gated.

And because we're classed as rural land, the deeds are very particular. Everything is very well documented.

He is just weird, sadly. Another lot of guests have left early, so something is going on.
