Good Morning Sunday

Morning everyone

Lovely, sunny and quiet morning so far 8-) This should be the last of our hot hot days and we're back to normal temperatures this week.

I'll be having a stroll around the garden after coffee, feeding all the plants and Grumpy is being pool boy, vacuuming and cleaning it.

Apart from that, not a lot  Will be in the pool later but plan an easy day today. But you never know, things might change ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it is dull here but warm, and the sun is supposed to come out. We are off out this afternoon, there is a park about 10km away where my sister tells me they have live music on a Sunday afternoon and people do a bit of dancing, all outside. So we thought we would have a look, I’m finding it difficult at the moment not going anywhere, and hopefully this will be a bit of fun. I’ve cleaned the bathrooms and will head off for my shower now.

Morning all :D

Hot, hot here 8-)

There's a bit of a breeze today, we'll be out in the garden doing absolutely nothing. Roast chicken with salad for dinner later, choccy blancmange with orange jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all :)

Jan, normal temps sounds better 8-) :)

Saundra, hope your tea and toast were nice xxx

Osc, that does sound nice, hope you have fun :)

We're having roast chicken salad too, Jen :)

We went out early for brunch in the Quays, then popped a few groceries round to D, and stopped for a cuppa and a chat - she's feeling a lot better 8-) Becky had pegged my washing out for me, by the time we got home, so that's drying nicely. The chicken's in the oven, and we're relaxing in front of the telly :)

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday everyone :) xx

Good afternoon all, it’s warming up here now the sun’s making an appearance.

We went into Lichfield this morning for our takeaway coffee and cake which we then eat in the park. The temperature was perfect, around 17c, and the park was quieter than usual seeing as the sun wasn’t shining.

Joe should be back from Cornwall later, they were goin* to unpack a bit more of Amanda’s stuff in the cottage and then have a picnic before driving back, and Tom’s away visiting his Nan in Cardiff, we’re not sure if he said he’s back tonight or tomorrow night.
Amanda texted me yesterday afternoon from the beach to tell me that they’d been swimming in the sea and Joe had been stung by a weever fish! He’d soaked his foot in hot water though so as to break up the venom and said it felt okay.

Glad D is feeling better!

Have a good day all xx

That's what we're having at night Jo

Wandered down to our nice neighbours house. to check all is okay with the batteries for their solar and pulled a few weeds up on their drive. Pinched a few lemons too  as we've been slicing them up and putting them in water for a few days, lovely 8-)

Net door has obviously listened to some-one, as his donkeys had a load of hay to much on, they ignored the weeds

Sadly, there are currently 24 fire fighting aircraft in the air up north :o :( They really have been hit for six this year, far more than normal. But when you get five fires, almost in a row, starting in the early hours, you know it's arson :cute: :cute:

Just having a glass of wine and will start dinner, chicken with lemon and chillies, we enjoyed it so much the other week.
