Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 21 Aug 2020, 05:23

Good morning.

Off for my walk shortly.

Back to help Michele pack. I can't believe she goes home tomorrow. The 3 weeks have sped by.

We're taking dad out for lunch then later sis and I are going out for a couple of drinks. Won't be a late night as she's leaving tomorrow at 4.30am for her early flight from Edinburgh.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Grey and damp  Yes, wet stuff fell from the sky last night :Hi: :Hi: Warm though and warming up even more later, with sunshine 8-)

Had to dry off Molly hen she came in this morning  She's a weird cat, doesn't mind being wet at all :? In fact, her latest thing is to get one of us to smooth her, with wet hands, once we've pulled the pool cover on The wetter the hand, the better

Housework for me this morning and Grumpy will put another coat on the bench. It really does look good :Hi:

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Good morning evrybody.

It is raining.
Relaxing today. Went to the hospital yesterday afternoon. Mrs.e now has her left arm from the wrist to her upper arm in plaster. Ther is a red gauze type covering on the outside. The arm is heavy so she has a sling to suport it. Glad we had a taxi o take us there and back.
Have to go back in three weeks. The fracture clinic was very busy, all ages.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

Ally, is it 3 weeks already? Wow that has flown by. Enjoy the time with your sister; and I'm sure it won't be long before you all see each other again x
Jan, yay for the rain. Got to love a weird cat :D; but wet hands are one way of getting a lot of loose fur off them ;-) . Grumpy really did well with that bench; it looks amazing. What's it like to sit on have you had a chance yet?
Poor Mrs E, Cruiser - is she feeling a bit better at least? Does she have a proper plaster cast, not one of these newer fibreglass ones, they are meant to be a lot lighter?

Not sure what today will bring for me. I had a really bad nights sleep for various reasons so ended up oversleeping this morning and woke up at 9. I forgot to reset the 2nd alarm for 8 so it only went off at 9; oops  . It was a very very windy night which was predicted but I sort of forgot about so didn't move a few things out the way; so for quite a bit of the night things were falling off things and making noise - and the wind itself was quite loud. It's set to continue all day so it'll be an indoor day for me. But I have to get the beans from the allotment before they get too big and tough so that HAS to happen to day. Just not sure where I'm going to store them all - the freezers have some space but don't think it'll be enough. I'm seriously thinking of getting another small undercounter one

Have a lovely day all and enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Sat on it Ria, quite comfy. Just waiting for the cushions.

Yes, the fur just comes out in handfuls

And the glut of veg is why we bought another freezer - and they're all full

Hope Mrs E feels better with the new cast Cruiser. Good job you can cook, iron and clean :D

Morning all........almost

Bright and sunny, but very windy.

Enjoy your lunch Ally.
The bench looks lovely Jan, well done Grumpy.
Hope Mrs.E isn't in too much pain Cruiser.

Z passed all his GCSE’s and is off to West Kent College in September to study Creative Media Production and Technology, we're all so proud of him :D :D :D

We've enjoyed our first lie in for a few days. The washing's on the go and a Sainsburys delivery this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all :)

Ally, enjoy your drinks with M, and safe travels to her tomorrow xxx

Cruiser, poor MrsC! :( Sending my best to her xxx

Jan, that's different, my mum's cats all loathed water  xxx

Ria, I've had a couple of bad nights this week, and it really does throw you out for the rest of the day doesn't it? :? Hope you get your beans picked xxx

Hi Saundra, hope your day is going ok xxx

Well done to Z, Jen! It's a relief when they do well, especially this year! xxx

We've had a nice morning with our friends, Ruth and Rob. We had brunch in Portivo Lounge in the Quays, I had poached eggs on a muffin with mushrooms and Hollandaise :D Nice to catch up with them :) I broke a strap on my slingback shoe coming down the stairs from the parking, so had to hobble round :cute:  Luckily since I got home I managed to find an identical pair in the Debenhams sale :D

Love to all xxx
