Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 09 Sep 2020, 05:34

Good morning.

I realised last night when having my bed time shower I'd forgotten to post yesterday.

A very pleasant 32 degrees forecast. Much more civil.

Off for a run, back for a swim then get ready to go to Miramar shopping mall. The Pandora charm Don ordered for my birthday is now in stock. :P

We'll nip into Iceland on the way home. :D

Meeting my colleague Ana tonight for a drink and some dinner.

Have a great day.

Best wishes for E Jen. xxx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another lovely morning and a rather warm day.

Doing our normal runaround Ourique after breakfast. Need salt for the pool, stamps, birthday cards and then the dreaded Pingo

Pit stop for coffee on the way back and then not a lot. It might be cooler, only 34C this week, but still too hot to do anything outside. All bbq's, working outside with machinery have been banned until at least Friday at midnight, because of the high fire risk. Massive fires up north again.

Hope E and Jen both had a good night and there's news of the move today x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two, morning all

Hope you both get your shopping done. Ally; what charm did you get?
32 and 34 degrees; we can only but dream. Swap the two numbers around and you're more likely to get our temperatures (if we're lucky that is :D ).

Off to work today. We have a few people in the office today so I've just sent an email to everyone setting down a few ground rules. I'll only get in for 10.30(ish) so just hope people adhere to them. I cannot force them - they're all sensible adults.

Thinking of E and Jen x

Have a lovely day every one xx

He bought me the camera charm Ria. :D

Just come back from my run and as it's already 31 degrees it's going to be hotter than forecast. No sh*t Sherlock.

Good morning, I’m just back in time from walking Bill - it started to rain two minutes after we walked through the door.

The Tesco delivery is coming later this morning, there’s more washing to be done and we’re planning on getting to Penkridge market for some plants. It’s only held on Wednesdays and Saturdays and Wednesday is always a bit quieter. We need a few more evergreen bushes for in the back garden.

How many charms have you got Al? I’ve got the bracelet and have had it for six years and haven’t got a charm yet  I need to start dropping some hints

Have a good day all x

With today's new one I'll have 12 charms Jo.

When I was in Scotland sis and I had a curry out one night with our cousin Ryan and his wife Nic.

She remarked on my bracelet and I saw she had one too....with a 'mum' charm that her two children had bought her and she was saying that's all she had.

I was saying jokingly c'mon Ryan.....get yer wallet out and treat Nic.

The next day I said to Michele why don't you and I go halves on a charm for her.
We decided on the 'friends are the family you choose' one, Amazon delivery the next day. :D

That night we drove round to give it to her and she was absolutely over the moon. :D

Since then Ryan has bought her a heart charm.

Morning all :D

Another bright day.

I love my Pandora bracelet Ally, it's completely full now. Most charms are from E, but one was a birthday pressie from the boys.
Safe journey to work Ria, hope everyone keeps to the rules.

Poor E had a disturbed night and at one stage was running a temperature. More fun and games this morning, after a lot of kerfuffle and phone calls he's finally on his way to Barnet Hosp. The plan is for him to have an angiogram which hopefully will shed some light on what went wrong during his op.

I had a rotten night too, only managed 4 hours. Feeling fidgety with worry, but too tired to do much.

Hope you all have a good day, thanks for thinking of us xx

Morning all, it’s an ok day here in Carlingford, there was beautiful sunshine before we got up  The local mountain seems to permanently wearing a misty hat. I had strange bed syndrome last night, so not a great night’s sleep. Today we are getting the Greenore to Greencastle ferry, round trip, so we can travel across Carlingford Lough before Brexit comes into effect - and apparently it’s a scenic trip. We had planned a walk but Edward’s dodgy knee is acting up. We’ll just wander around Carlingford when we get back.
