Never go down to our bar for just a couple of beers

Thought we'd check the post (usual excuse )

Jan and hubby were there, also Lucy and Chris, new neighbours. Several - many - beers later, we're back home.

Off on a jolly down to the Algarve tomorrow, as there is a very strong possibility we'll be back in a state of emergency soon and I need/want curry stuff, cheeses and other stuff we can't get here.

Jan is driving and we're off to Lagao (never been), then Guia shopping and, if we have time, Almancil, for the new Tesco.

Luckily, she'll drive and I'll buy lunch.

Amazing how cold it got, in a couple of hours, I had to wear Joaquim's hunting jacket,

Lucy (ex four day eventer, won gold for England) and Chris are coming up here for a late lunch next week.
