Good morning.

Sunny and a pleasant forecast of 22 degrees.

Usual two hours work this morning then meeting Don for a pitufo and coffee brunch. I thought A would be back at work today but no...so I have my hours 4 - 7 then doing A's 7 - 9.

At least Masterchef is on at 10 here giving me time to walk home, shower and settle down with my dinner and my favourite programme. :D

Have a great day.

How's E doing Jen? xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny, but misty still. Should be a very peasant day later. Picking acorns in a t-shirt yesterday, and glowing slightly too 8-)

Ironing for me and I'll make the desserts for Thursdays lunch. Might make the favas today too, get it over and done with.

Grumpy is working out the table top and thinking of how many blocks etc we'll need for the next project. We've moved it from the front to the back, we'll use it more there, I think.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Then back home for coffee and just pootling.

It is cloudy but warm and the sun is trying to come out.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, looks pleasant enough out there but damp. I have a wash in, and towels in the dryer - apart from the usual tidying up that might be the limit of my domesticity today :cute: Yesterday, I took out my family tree stuff for the first time in years, and hope to get back to it today. Yesterday I was checking out the various sites I had joined to see if passwords still worked, most did. On Ancestry.com I went on their message boards, and was astonished to see someone had posted a query about my father  He/she was wondering if Dad might be connected to his family - he is not and I replied saying so, but as the OP posted in January, I wonder if they will see the answer. Today, I need to do serious sorting of my paper file. I’m also toying with doing one of the Ancestry DNA tests to see if it throws up some relatives in the US, there was a family of nine siblings who emigrated there and apart from finding one or two on shipping records, I have been unable to trace any of them.

Edward is busy getting to know his new piano, it takes up less space than his old one, so we did a little bit of reorganising yesterday and it all looks more spacious now. He put a couple of his musical instruments in the attic, as he rarely plays them. Three more weeks of our level 5 restrictions, and we are managing to find stuff to do. Right, think we will go for an early walk and then on with the day!

Morning all :D

Rain overnight and the ground's still wet, the odd spot of sunshine but mostly dark and miserable.

I'll check it out on catch up Saundra, Ed was only at the Royal Free Hospital for a few hours for his angiogram.

Plan to do a bit more online Christmas shopping, got most of what I need for the boys, just need to buy them each a top. Tesco open their Christmas slots in three days time, must be sure to get an order in.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good idea to get your delivery slot booked asap Jen 8-) I was urging my Aunty Rose to do just that when I spoke to her at the weekend! They soon fill up xxx

It's been a typical November day here, damp and chilly. I walked up to see D at lunchtime, and took some soup for us to have lunch together :) B has just got home from work. They had a reception team meeting, and she's happy that a few issues they've been having are getting addressed 8-) :)

Love to all xxx

Well, that was a diffrent aftnoon than planned

Mitch came up, as he needed help with getting his premium bonds sorted.

He's got a rubbish memory and can never remember if he's registered or not, what address etc etc  So I spent half an hour trying to register him, but for some reason just couldn't. So being the stubborn person that I am, I messaged the, e-mailed them. If you ring, all you get is that it will take about half an hour before you can talk to some.one. Cost a blasted fortune.

Eventually, I got a response and was sent a link to the form :Hi: :Hi:

Only problem is, neither of us have a printer

Rang a friend, he as on the way back from the Algarve, dropped off the link, we went down to the bar and he dropped it in. I filled it in, Mitch signed it and it's off to England tomorrow.

Lovely and warm in the sun, just started getting chilly in the shade now, so the fire is lit :D
