Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 13 Dec 2020, 07:07

Good morning.

Lovely sunshine forecast 20 degrees.

Off for a walk shortly. :)

We're going to Gambrinus for lunch and will be joined by the boys!! Yes! Midnight last night curfew between towns in Andalucia was lifted which means they can come over. :Hi: :Hi:

Even though they only live 20 mins by car from each other, Jacob in Malaga centro and Conor in Cala del Moral, they haven't seen each other for 3 weeks....which is a long time in twinland according to them.

I just cannot wait to see them. (We need a huggy smiley.) ;)

Have a great day everyone. xx

Good morning everybody.
It is raining.

Going shopping at Tsco and Morrisons. We can only get peppermint cordial at Morrisons. Then back home to relax.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

Foggy, but mild. Might even stay dry

Enjoy seeing the twins Ally :D

Another day of not doing a lot, although I feel much better this morning. Tummy still distended  and I'm struggling getting interested in food - most unlike me

Roast lamb for dinner and that's about my lot.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it is a very miserable morning here, lashing rain :( However it is supposed to stop by lunchtime, fingers crossed. I refuse to be downhearted though, because we are going OUT FOR LUNCH!! A Dress Will Be Worn, high heels and makeup. It is booked for 3.30pm, we were supposed to go to this restaurant for my birthday back in September but of course that was cancelled. Miss Osc booked it during lockdown with the vague hope that lockdown would be lifted, and it was. So Miss Osc and family and the two of us, with lots to celebrate and be thankful for.

That's good for the boys Ally.
A poor sort of day here. Grey and rainy.
That is a very positive attitude Osc, we should all try to be like that.
Daughter and Eliza and Dobby the dog are here this morning. Lee (our son in law) was on nights last night and this way their house is quiet for him to try and get some sleep.
There are some good films on TV today. Liar liar, Bill and Ted's excellent adventure, The Pink Panther Strikes Again, Arachnaphobia, Groundhog Day...
It's like buses, none for ages then three come at once.
Our daughter has bought the dog an illuminated ball! When it starts getting dark he can't see an ordinary ball and loses it. With the light up ball he can.
She sent us a video clip on her phone last night. Very weird! This light bouncing off into the distance when thrown and when the dog ran back with it in his teeth his face was lit up with a green glow - he looked like the Hound of the Baskervilles!
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all :)

Wet and miserable here

Enjoy seeing the boys Ally.
Hope your tummy settles Jan, have a nice and easy day xx
Have a lovely family lunch out Osc.

I slept in longer than usual this morning and had just got E showered when the phone rang. It was an old friend from when we lived in Reading. We keep in touch for birthdays and Christmas, but I haven't actually spoken to her for a few years now. I always send a round robin letter with my Christmas cards, just a one page roundup of our year, she was ringing to ask about E. It was lovely to hear from her and we had a nice chat, but of course it's put me way behind. We're only just having brekkie, or shall we call it brunch

I forgot to mention I was expecting a food order from M&S yesterday. It should have arrived between 7-8pm, to be fair the delivery chap did ring to say he was running late, it eventually turned up at 9.30pm. Most of it was chilled food to go in the freezer out in the garage, by the time it got here it was so wet outside I crammed it all in the fridge. Took it all out before brekkie, just as well it wasn't too bad then, it's tipping down again now. Good news is we're well stocked up, plenty of 'normal' food and both freezers are loaded with some nice treats.

No other plans today, roast chicken with veg for dinner this evening, raspberry blancmange and jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

*Waves to all*

We'll we've had a ridiculous morning, tried everywhere for a front door wreath as Mick couldn't find the box with last year's in, despite turning the garage upside down! We tried Sainsbury's, The Range, B&Q but nothing at all! Finally found a passable one in Homesense, got home, Mick went out to the garage for something - and found the box with the old one in! :?

Cooking a cottage pie now for dinner - B is working and it keeps well :)
