My visit...

....I've noticed a couple of you asking about it. Thanks.
Like I said in my GM thread I'd thought long and hard about coming over but couldn't bear the thought of dad being on his own Christmas Day.
Don as usual was his uber understanding self when I mooted the idea of coming over but, and it sounds daft, he said he'd find the idea of quarantining for 2 weeks difficult. Which is fair enough.
It's 'easy' for me as I'm used to being with dad for extended periods of time. If this makes sense.
We had a family meeting and the twins are rallying round with visits and staying over. In fact they both did last night and the previous one.
Conor will be with Lucia and her family Christmas Day. Jacob is cooking for him and Don at our house.
God willing I get home on the 2 Jan.
I've booked us two nights in Nerja from the 3rd where Don and I will celebrate a belated Christmas together.
I feel grateful I've been able to come over. It's the first Christmas in 32 years Don and I have been apart at this special time but again, God willing, we'll have many more together. X
