..... sis and Mark are clear to travel back to France. :Hi:

Michele drove 6 hours yesterday to get to Northampton to be with Mark.

He'd spent the last couple of days frantically searching for covid tests to enable entry to France as during their time in the UK this became a necessity.

Anyway.... as soon as sis got there yesterday they drove straight to Stevenage and for the princely sum of £250 got a test with results available within 24 hours.

She's just whatsapped me... both negative.

They had the euro tunnel booked originally for today but luckily they managed to defer till tomorrow so that's the plan. They'll get to their home on Boxing Day.

I'm so relieved for them. :Hi:

Yayyyyyyyyy....indeed, but I do not envy them their drive to Folkestone.

I hope to God it goes smoothly, but I would be packing plenty of drinks and nibbles, as I am sure they will be doing. It's a sod of a journey in normal times and not one I will be going again any time soon.
