Been the same here Vic.

Things will be changing again from Thursday, after the President has addressed the nation.

Two islands, both very different Vic.

I cannot see that ever happening on the island of Great Britain, certainly not for those time slots, and it could never be enforced equitably everywhere.

Having said that it will not make much difference to us 'shielders' as we are virtually locked in 24/7 anyway. But it would ruin my late evening shopping trips.

Good for the Madeirans for trying though.

That was my first thought. I wonder with the general toughening up of rules for entry into supermarkets here (bouncers on the door, enforced social distancing, restricted numbers in store), we will start to see queuing again, or more people deciding to shop late anyway.

The night shops are what I have been doing from the start. Always Tuesday plus one other, but never the weekends, and always after 8 pm.

For the next couple of weeks I will be running down my stockpile of tinned soups, curries and chillies whilst continuing my cemetery walks. Mind you, they have changed since Christmas. There are more larger groups, six and up, and mainly older people in multiple couples. It is against the rules but the cemetery is a police-free zone as the vehicle gates are closed. ;) ;) ;)
