Edward is fine!

Postby Osc » 25 Jan 2021, 18:03

He went down to theatre around 1.30 and messaged at 3.15 that he was back in the ward feeling surprisingly well, so it would appear that he has no ill effects from the anaesthetic which is great. Heard more recently that they are going to monitor him overnight which is fine by us both. My first time spending the night alone in this house!

When I got home this morning, I headed over to Miss Osc’s new house and started cleaning the kitchen. She arrived around 2pm and we finished it together. I was impressed, she was cleaning, dealing with business phone calls and managing the children! One person she was speaking to on the phone said “I’ll let you get back to your washing up” but she says it’s the same with everyone these days, people multitasking like mad!

Good news Osc :Hi: :Hi:

Hope he makes a swift recover.

Just a quick question, I know it's a different op from what I will have but was it keyhole?

It was planned to be. Haven’t asked him yet. Last time (18 years ago) it wasn’t.

I'm glad the op went well Osc and that E had no bad reaction to the anaesthetic.

Really pleased it went well and hope he has a good night.

Anaesthetic seems very bespoke these days so to speak. My last one they asked me if I had ever been poorly afterwards and I said no but I am terrified of being sick and she said dont worry we'll pop some anti sickness in there anyway then
