Update---- Helicopters recalled ,land search now in progress but shipping has been asked to keep a watch
Also search dogs in local country park which is massive

Apparently 1 person is missing

I see it's being reported in the County Press online, Vic, (Isle of Wight) but the details in their article don't really add anything to what you've posted already.

Apparently it's a man missing no mention as to whether he has been found yet

Certainly wouldn't have wanted to be in that country park in the dark.After all the rain here it it be flooded in places and it's quite swampy as well,

I hope he's found safe and well, and hasn't been swept away

Hopefully he's been found by now poor family; can't imagine what they must be going through

Yesterday we had an air ambulance and the police helicopter circling round, plus a number of emergency vehicles - plus sirens - flying about. Couldn't find out why, then this morning, I heard that a young baby had died No further info as yet but how sad

Update--sadly a man's body has been found and the family informed
