He was the old man aged 100 who walked up an down his drive with his zimmer to raise money for the NHS - £33million of it.

It is so sad to see him go so soon after his wonderful gesture and achievement. The world could do with a lot more like him.

RIP Captain Sir Tom Moore.

It was a very sad moment when someone who stepped up, when a crisis loomed, succumbed to the crisis himself.

Normally this only happens once in a lifetime, but to do this once in WW2 at the beginning of his adult life and again with Covid at the end, is an example to generations that follow.

After two World wars, the whole country understood those who had sacrificed, but after decades with no further conflict, that sacrifice was somewhat tarnished.

Hopefully his efforts will be remembered for a long time.

His family will remember how he passed as a positive thing, with the whole country mourning with them. I hope it helps them.
